  5. For what it’s worth, the new album was the Telegraphs CD of the week – not sure whether that will tempt you into checking out Manu Chao out on his tour but he rocks live by all accounts!
  6. Manu Chao, the legendary French-Spanish performer and songwriter, who has been hitting number one across Europe with his new album ‘La Radiolina’ is on the verge of embarking on a European Tour.
  7. Good article! You should get yourself down to one of the limited viewings Tigerboy (or enter the draw)! ;)
  8. Radar have just supported Just Jack on his recent tour and have previously supported Scroobius Pip. Did anyone see them supporting Just Jack?
  9. I'm doing some online market research for the new Daft Punk movie, Electroma. Wondered if you guys here at the Buzzjack forum could help me out by letting me know what you think of the film. It looks like it’ll be shrouded in the kind of mystique only Daft Punk are capable of creating – so far it’s rumoured that the film won’t feature any dialogue, any music by Daft Punk, or the duo themselves! But what is certain is that it will surely be one of the must-see cult films of 2007. There are limited screenings of Electroma across the UK before the DVD release in September. On the microsite you can check the dates, see the trailer for the film and also win tickets to one of the screenings and a Daft Punk goodie bag (you know it’ll be a collectors’ item in years to come) – just click the banner below to get through!

I wouldn't call it commercial (don't hink it's been produced with pop chart position in mind) but I do think it's accessible for those who aren't particularly into underground dance music - so therefore could be commercially successful - a subtle difference, but a difference nonetheless if you ask me! Anyway, if you've not heard it yet & want to make up your own mind, check out the track on her Myspace, there’s also a competition to win a signed Roisin poster and goodie bag with copies of the single: click here
  11. Glad you like it! I think Bongo Bong was on Manu Chao's 2000 album 'Clandestino'. Any thoughts on 'Rainin' In Paradize'? :)
  12. Just thought Robbie's fans of ‘Bongo Bong' (a cover of Manu Chao) might be interested to hear Manu Chao's latest. There's a free download going on his website: www.manuchao.net (download link is at the bottom right of the page) to coincide with his North America tour & ahead of his forthcoming album release! What do you reckon? :)
  13. Also did anyone see them on Jools Holland? Their Joy Division cover was special!
