  1. Brilliant - thank you so much
  2. Thanks for this. Is it possible to post last week's airplay chart too?
  3. Seems like the trick to making the year-end chart nowadays is to be a hit in January or February, or ideally the year before!
  4. 1995 - Britpop (including the Blur vs. Oasis chart battle), multiple million sellers, Robson and Jerome keeping some of the best singles of all time from No1 (not a good thing obviously, but interesting nonetheless)
  5. If so sorry to go against the common view, but I cannot stand Driving Home For Christmas. The "top to toe in tailbacks" bit makes me wanna nail my balls to the table.
  6. I'm sure someone can confirm for sure - but I think it might be a record. Didn't Burt Bacharach break the record in 2011 when he had his first top 10 album since 1971. Obviously that was a 40 year gap, Rick Wakeman has bettered that.

    This peaked at #12
  8. Pogues surprisingly don't even beat last year's peak (13)
  9. How did I miss this first time around? Thanks
  10. Has anyone attempted a decade-to-date chart for the 2010s? If so, where can I find it?

Good! Because the capitalisation is both pointless and annoying.
  12. Livin' Joy - Dreamer Madison Avenue - Don't Call Me Baby Tori Amos - Professional Widow (It's Got To Be Big) Culture Beat - Mr Vain Peter Andre - Mysterious Girl Tony Christie - (Is This The Way To) Amarillo I'm sure there's dozens more
  13. You're a star! :yahoo:
  14. any chance of posting 41-100 for the singles and albums. We know OCC will publish them anyway so surely nobody will get in trouble?
  15. It was declared a year ago http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/k...hrilled-__7679/
  16. I know I'm nit-picking, but shouldn't this be marked up as a million seller?
  17. In this article, OCC states Waves sales total as 815k - althought confusingly give a lower total for Ghost (744k) http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/2...art-smash-3384/
  18. Yeah, many feel (and are probably right) that its sales are closer to 800k. Although the OCC quoted 980k back in 2012 so they'll have to stick with that. Especially For You probably doesn't sell that much to be fair, but new material from Kylie this year as well as her role on the Voice UK might bump sales up just enough.
  19. If we are really going retro I anticipate Kylie and Jason's Especially For You and UB40's Red Red Wine to pass a million sales this year
  20. excellent work and beautifully done
  21. Same situation for Lou Reed's Perfect Day

Has UKMix closed. Page hasn't loaded for me for two days - just get a blank screen?
  24. anyone have a list of all the tracks with 100,000 plays?
  25. Far from it, the "iTunes voucher effect" can make the week after Christmas one of the biggest sales weeks of the year (especially for singles)
