    More news  :w00t:

Found this on the snow patrol web site(www.snowpatrol.com). although we already know the name of the album, this is said by the band and not a newspaper ^_^

the title of the fifth album

    Hello everyone

Well, in this world of instant coffee, news, messaging and everything else it was bound to happen.

In an interview with the Belfast Telegraph we let slip the working title of the album then said not to print it until we had finalised it with each other (and put it on this very site). Those words were not heeded and they printed it anyway.

We’re sorry you didn’t hear it from us first but the album is indeed called ‘a hundred million suns’.

We will endeavour to make you guys the first to hear about everything else. It’s becoming increasingly hard but we’ll do our best.

Lots of apologetic love to you all. Gary.x

...and there are also two more "infos", from the video and the sleeve :)

BE IN THE NEW SP VIDEO

As we head towards the launch of the new album and the first new material since the 2006 album Eyes Open, we wanted to let you know about a very special event that is set to take place this coming Monday 11th August.

The band will be shooting a new video in Central London and we are looking for an 18-35 year old group of people to appear in a pub scene at night. This may be quite a late night (perhaps after midnight) so please take this into consideration when emailing us.

The roles we are looking for (which are the only acting roles in the video) are UNPAID but a lot of fun.

If your interested please email your NAME, a PHOTO OF YOURSELF, with your MOBILE NUMBER to...

    snowpatrol@partizan.com

It's going to be an incredible looking video directed by Alex Courtes (Kasabian, U2, White Stripes), so if you’d like to be involved please get in touch ASAP.

    Good Luck

Want To Help Create The Sleeve For The New Album?

The sleeve designer for Snow Patrol's new album 'One Hundred Million Suns', has extended an invitation to all SP fans to make an origami star or sun that could well end up on the new album cover.

To enter your origami star or sun to be considered for use, please send it in to the address below. However there are a few guidelines :

It must be no smaller than 10cms across and no wider than 20cms across

It must be made from a single sheet of paper in one of the following colours: Yellow, Gold, Orange or Red.

It must reach us no later than Thursday August 14th, which isn’t far away!

Apart from that, let your imagination run wild and make as many as you want

    Send them in to:

    Fiction Records

    364-366 Kensington High Street

    London
