I finally finished Juniorvision and it wasn't my favorite year, but it was still OK. The biggest surprise was that Martin Österdahl was a no show. Instead, there was just a "Good To Go!" written on a big wall. Could it be that Martin Österdahl won't show up to the audience at Eurovision either?

A new single from Alcazar is being released today, to be precise the artist is Andreas Lundstedt / Alcazar feat. In the episode that will air on Swedish TV tonight, Andreas Lundstedt performs "Just Like That (I Like It)" with his former female band members from Alcazar.

To cheer up the disappointed fans in Austria, the Austrian television station ORF1 was allowed to air The Eras Tour yesterday as a world premiere on television. 228,000 Austrians were watching, market share 18 percent, most-watched program in its time slot (from 9:45 p.m. to 1:07 a.m.).

Maybe next year an international star will be used again as interval act, who will distract the press and fans in case there is another controversy about countries and participants. A poorly singing superstar could be a welcome distraction.

Was the audience actually right to boo Martin Österdahl or is he just a puppet and other people behind the scenes have the real power? The reaction in the arena could be healing for Martin Österdahl's ego, because I think he's trying too hard to become a memorable part of Eurovision with his "You're good to go!"

Read My Lips has been on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart for four weeks now, but what does it mean exactly? Is RML only charted there because of the streams for MOTD and do people actually stream/buy the whole album? I don't understand something about the Hot 100 either: MOTD is no 57 in the Hot 100 this week, but the song is better placed in all genre charts: streaming no 38, digital no 17 and pop airplay no 30. So if MOTD is doing well on streaming and radio, why is it on the Hot 100 just at no 57?

Does anyone know if Murder on the Dancefloor is on US radio? Even if it is still far in the future: If Murder were to become a radio hit in the US, Crying At The Discotheque should be her next single there. Crying is Sophie's seventh most successful song in the UK without ever reaching the top 100, so it definitely has potential. Besides, hardly anyone in the USA knows the original Crying anyway and everyone would think it was another catchy song from Sohpie.

HOTN remains in the German download charts for a second week, falling from no 65 to 90. Padam Padam reentered last week at no 44 and is out now.

German midweeks no 3. Disco was at no 1 in midweeks back then and ended up at no 3, so we hope Tension can remain no 3 for the entire week.

My dreams that Tension could become Kylie's second No 1 album in Germany don't seem to be coming true. Tension is no. 3 on German iTunes and only no. 17 on German Amazon CDs. Anastacia is at the top of both charts and has done what I wanted from Kylie: promotion in Germany. Yesterday Anastacia was a guest on an entertainment show that had 1.21 million viewers and later on another one with even 2.13 million viewers, while Kylie has not been seen on German tv yet.

To me, Tension is more 10 Out Of 10 than Padam Padam, but I already thought there would be 10 Out Of 10 alike songs on the album, otherwise why would 10 Out Of 10 be on the album at all? Regarding the song Tension: It won't end up high on my list of favorite Kylie songs, but it won't end up at the bottom either.

The easiest way to check if PP might be close to the Hot 100 is to look at where PP ranks on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and which songs of that chart are also in the Hot 100. In recent weeks only top 2 are part of the Hot 100, Hot Dance/Electronic Songs current no 3 is Hot 100 Bubbling Under's no 21. PP is Hot Dance/Electronic Songs' no 9 this week, so it's far away from entering Hot 100 or Hot 100 Bubbling Under. PP's peak position on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs was no 7, so Hot 100 were never close.

In my mother's gossip magazine, the German-speaking Gala, there was a big report about Kylie. Padam Padam has been themed with amazing facts. The magazine says: "Kylie released the single in May and it has now become a major chart hit and summer hit of the year." PP didn't even come close to the top 100 in Germany and only reached the lower places of the airplay top 100, so it can be assumed that few Germans know and like PP. "More than 20 years after her last super hit CGYOOMH, Kylie has made a brilliant comeback." Since CGYOOMH 17 more singles entered the German top 100, 8 of them reached the top 20. As a reminder, PP wasn't even in the German trending charts. "Minogue is still missing one market, namely the USA. The singer has been trying to gain a foothold there for years. With PP she could now succeed: The song has been in the top 10 of the charts there for several weeks, it's the first time that Kylie made it into this ranking." US Dance/Electronic Songs Top 10 was indeed reached with PP, but the important Hot 100, in which Kylie has already been in the top 10 twice, was missed. It is also written about Kylie and Dannii: "The two women have an intimate relationship. Recently they were even placed in the charts at the same time. Kylie's comment: It's crazy, great and wonderful." The magazine is probably referring to the single chart week in which PP and WCBTO were both in the top 10 of the UK downloads charts. The article is a great promo for Kylie, but the truth about Padam Padam's success, be it in Germany or in the USA, is different.

Yes it was Dancing, peaking at no 71 after Kylie performed on the German edition of Strictly Come Dancing. A few weeks ago, a daily gossip show that has over a million viewers in Germany speculated about the potential songs of the summer and Padam Padam was one of them, although it is not in the top 100 and not in the trending charts either. The promo didn't help, Padam Padam is still MIA. The only official German chart that Padam Padam made it into is the download top 100. The current chart run: 14-68-/-44-40-60-63-68-66. When it comes to the airplay chart Padam Padam finally reached the top 100, climbing from 102 to 99.

Isn't "I'd Rather Jack" known as the moment in SAW's career after things went downhill? What would have happened if Kylie had sung the song? I also think Sonia's "Now I'm Without You" is a great choice. Anyone remember Nancy Davis' "If You Belonged To Me"? That would have been great for Kylie too, as would "Running Back For More," originally by Delage.
