I just checked Taylor's discography at Wikipedia and it says "The 1" was released as 4th single on October 9 in Germany. Very strange. Never heard it on the radio over here.

It's the only song from the album I skip. It's just not that kind of Taylor I love.

Real Groove & Miss A Thing are new at nos 36 & 43 in indie singles. I wonder if this success for album tracks will make both Kylie's next singles.

Yes, tomorrow afternoon German charts will post top positions in their news section, a few hours later we get the whole charts updated.

Just an hour ago Kylie sent a video message to her German fans thanking "for your love and support for #DISCO." So I guess we can celebrate her second German no 1 album.

Wow, Disco could be her second German no 1. Fever was on top when CGYOOMH was no 1, but there's no chart entry for any Disco single. It took a long time for Kylie to become an album seller with no hit single at all.

We shouldn't be sad if Disco won't reach the top. Kylie's only no 1 album in November was her debut. She never had a no 1 in December, so no 2 would still be great!

The tour was cancelled in Germany because of financial difficulties of the German promoter for the show and I remember friends not getting their money back. On a big German celebrity page whenever there's news about Kylie a former fan posts about this cancellation, claims Kylie owns him money for his concert ticket and she didn't do anything for German fans to get their money back... Does anybody know what happened there and if Kylie ever showed interest in this financial issue?

What I love about these rankings for artists who are doing music for decades is that you kind of feel if the person who ranks the singles is old enough to know all of them when they were originally released. I could never place Tears On My Pillow so low. I'm not a huge fan of it anymore, but I remember how much I loved it. On my personal chart back then it was the only EY-single at no 1 and I totally get why it topped the UK charts. I think it's one of these songs that seems odd because you weren't able to feel it when it was originally released.

Sometimes I talk about it, but they don't really care. I guess it's kind of the same with deluxe editions. My brother is totally into deluxe editions. He tells me what's coming, what's missing on a certain deluxe, fans reaction... I listen to him, even give some feedback, sometimes he wants to know how certain deluxe edition are doing in the charts. Friends never ask me how this or that song / album is doing and I don't bother them with it.

That would be great! Does anybody know more about Kylie's competition in other European markets? Are there big national releases in France, Spain and Italy on Friday? In Germany it's the perfect week, a week later she would lose against German powerhouses.

I hope Kylie enters top 200, but I'm not sure about it. She should be top 20 in sales, but almost every week there's a top 20 new entry in sales that doesn't reach official top 200.

The German daily newspaper I read mentioned Kylie's potential chart record today, calling Kylie a mega star who could go down into "annals of pop" with her next number 1.

I hope Say Something 72 or 73, Magic a little bit higher, but I'm afraid it's just wishful thinking. I really want frist two Disco singles enter top 75.

I Love It is new at no 75 in German download charts. Raining Glitter was new at no 230 back then, Stop Me From Falling peaked at no 99, so Disco era is doing well so far.
