I don't care at all. Whitney is a potentially great character who is frequently let down by being dragged into some appallingly dull teen plots. Tyler is a character I have absolutely no interest in. There's no character there beyond the producers believing Tony Discipline to be pretty. Even Anthony has been gifted with more personality.
  2. Alexandra Burke is an odd case, in that when it comes to X-Factor success stories, she is to an extent overlooked, and I think a lot of people would be similarly surprised that her debut album sold so well. She was a victim of JLS' success in a sense; she was very much overshadowed by them, and in some people's heads this didn't just mean that JLS had done very well for themselves but also that Alex hadn't quite met expectations. Which of course is baloney really.
  3. She will qualify for one only AFTER we have the new Shola Ama forum fully integrated into the site.

I don't think J-Lo HAS a signature song at the moment. A little more time may prove whether On The Floor can be it, but certainly it ISN'T Ain't It Funny or Waiting For Tonight, neither of which are hugely remembered outside of the internet gays. If you had to pick one, you'd have to go with Jenny From The Block, in that it was almost notorious as J-Lo parodying herself.

It's really impossible to generalise, as it completely depends on the song in question.

  7. It's not "average", it's positively DIABOLICAL. Easily the worst pop song I have heard in years.
  8. This is a terrible way to speak about JamesP.
  9. That just turns it into a popularity contest, and the majority of present-day BJ users won't necessarily have any idea of who has done what for the site in the past, so you'd just end up rewarding people who are visible at the time no? The idea of these is more of an "Outstanding Contribution" for past achievements than anything.

I would go so far as to say Safety Dance is the BEST thing Glee did in the first series. I much preferred it to Lea Michele's over-earnest warblings.

This next series is definitely going to be all about Shane, whether he dies or becomes the Guvnor.

This pretty much sums up how I feel about them. They were very much an act at the top of their game when they were doing a sorrowful ballad or a William Orbit that really made the best of their harmonies. War Of Nerves was quite beautiful, although perhaps not one which really worked as a commercial single. When they tried an uptempo, they more often than not came off more a second-rate Destiny's Child. I Know Where It's At was fun in an utterly vapid way, All Hooked Up was their most forgettable single release, Bootie Call and the two covers were DIABOLICAL, and truth be told I never thought Rock Steady was anything more than half decent; certainly it's not the pop opus half of Buzzjack believe.

Ben was AMAZING (and who'd have thought anybody would ever be saying that?). Despite the lack of a REALLY convincing motive, he was so completely OTT and ridiculous that it actually added to whole psycho thing he's got going on. I still can't help but feel cheated that we were never gifted with the Charlie "You Need Slappin' Dahn!" Jones interpretation of that scene. It would no doubt truly have been the ZENITH moment of television. I also LOVE DCI Marsden. I will be disappointed when Phil inevitably gets off and the storyline ends, for it will mean another 4 year hiatus for the saintly woman.
  15. The more I hear it the more I believe Judas to be tuneless tripe.

Good Lord is this REAL?! There is not a single redeemable quality about ANY of this, and in one fell swoop she's gone from being 2011's answer to LOUISE REDKNAPP to being a BUDGET Cascada.
  17. I'm sorry but Slick was quite clear with the rules. You are asked to contact the appropriate GM, and I will respond by apologising profusely for doing a Miku and deleting you, the Lounge, and a small third world country.

Poor old rubbish Liberty. Although to be fair, the Hollyoaks producers have clearly noticed, because the poor girl's appeared about twice in the last six months. She'll no doubt be soon shipped off off-screen a la Sarah Jayne Dunn.

However unglamourous Chemmy Alcott may be, she's actually noted for being one of those at the top of her chosen field. I don't think you can quite the same for Jorgie Porter; how the incredibly hammy (even by Hollyoaks standards) Theresa McQueen has provided the poor girl with three/four years worth of steady employment is beyond me!

I really don't quite get the Jorgie Porter fuss. She's the FURTHEST from being an iconic figure in that line-up.

Well surely Adele has the Artist award wrapped up.

I have only heard of five of those names (Welch, Cassidy, Cocozza, McLean and Romeo Dunn) and of those two only from other Reality TV shows. The budgetary limitations that come with being on Channel 5 are clearly showing.
