EastEnders
I have to say her comeback photos as shown on Digital Spy are NOT GOOD. She's aged to about 67 years old. She needs to start shagging Grant Mitchell again, she looked FAB then (and was a little more interesting).

Do The Pipettes play their own instruments? I have no idea.

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 5
Never Gonna Let You Go is a truly DULL song. It doesn't go anywhere and there's no dramatic moments for Misha to KILL. I'd LOVE to see Ride On Time (WITH pre-verse SCREAMING)

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 5
Bizarrely, last Saturday I randomly saw SAMI on stage singing some ACTUAL club classics (Rhythm Is A Dancer, Dreamer and Castles In The Sky all got outings) - and they were VERY GOOD. Much as she had no hope of winning, it's kind of a shame she's missed this week as it was clear she was much more comfortable with club bangers than she was the housewife ballads Louis kept trying to toss her. Someone to perform The Tamperer & Maya please, WITH the obligatory distorted final chorus.

EastEnders
I would imagine after this stint, we'll only see her again if Steve McFadden ever leaves during Babs' lifetime.

I cannot BELIEVE nobody has yet namechecked the POP MAJESTY of VANILLA (no way, no way, manamana.) Also SOLID HARMONIE Classics right there.

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 4
I'm LOVING all this chaos. The X Factor has come a long way from the days of VERITY and CASSIE COMPTON

Undisputed Albums of Each Decade
Oh I can tolerate No Surprises, as I also can High And Dry and Karma Police. I could also put up with Creep although I prefer the Scala version. But nevertheless, I would never class them as all-time favourites, as pretty much every music critic or alternative-kid in the country seems to.

Undisputed Albums of Each Decade
I think the fact that I QUITE ENJOY Dark Side Of The Moon rather proves Dandy's point, alas :( I remain, years on, thoroughly INDIFFERENT to all things Radiohead. Absolutely bleak.

Which UK Acts Should Release Singles In The US ???
Of that list I can't see the Saturdays, the Wanted or Lemar making it. Lemar's time in the sun in the UK has pretty much passed, and he'd be competing in a pretty full market in the USA. I'm not sure he'd offer anything the USA aren't already getting from Ne-Yo or Chris Brown. The USA are also fairly picky about which of our acts they take to their hearts - and generally it tends to be the credible acts who write/perform their own hits. I just don't see them being so big on our own rather faceless manufactured acts, which rules the Wanted and the Saturdays out.

X Factor: The Fix Factor
These are WONDERFUL. I want cartoons drawn for EVERY series going forward please. I think the Dannii one might JUST be my favourite. Also Craig's sneer is PERFECTION

I wouldn't be surprised if the spoilers turned out to be misleading. Remember the fire last year - spoilers and clips were "leaked" which showed Amy dying, only for it turn out to be a deliberate red herring. I'm still thinking

Best selling albums of all time
I simply DON'T BELIEVE that Talk On Corners and Spice don't take pride of place on Dandy's shelves.

NEVER MIND THE BUZZJACKS - MUSIC QUIZ
So I'm about to make myself a liar. The results will be TOMORROW instead (in the Lounge), so you still have time to submit answers. There are also some clues in the corresponding Lounge thread...

NEVER MIND THE BUZZJACKS - MUSIC QUIZ

Top 1000 Airplay Chart Countdown (Part 3)
As with all MOR, I love this, but it's just downright BIZARRE that a single that never even made the sales top 20 is so high in this countdown, and particularly ahead of modern-day "classics" like Bleeding Love, Patience, Toxic or You're Beautiful. I'm going to assume some of these positions may be slightly inflated because of the methodology. I would expect that tracks like some tracks that seem a little low to our eyes are probably racking up a fair amount of "lost" airplay; spread over a longer period of time and "bubbling under" the weekly top 100s.

Well apparently a shortlist of Silas' next victim has been released. DS have clips showing

So the usual weekly bump for this. A new round is up!

LEAST Fave songs (based on your top voted songs per year)
It's embarrassing enough that we only voted 3 male-fronted tracks into the top 40, without us then voting those 3 out within the first 6 rounds (and come on, do you people REALLY consider Whole Again to be a better song than Crazy?) Buzzjack really does go out of it's way to pander to it's stereotype.

Oh come on SERIOUSLY gays? Next week we'll all be cheering when the VENGABOYS scoop that much-deserved #1 album.
