Neighbours made some very poor casting and character choices in the 2007-2010 era. It was all the worst that they also tended to hone in on those very weak links in the cast and actively pushed them to be the lead characters. The choice to build a whole family around Ned Parker, and then promote Didge as their shining star. Ty... good grief. And the Sunny Lee era was woeful - it's why I'm to this day perfectly happy without the school being a main focus of the show.

Am I Right and Old Red Eyes is a fabulous 1-2 I'm also approving of the love for I'll Remember. It's possibly the best ballad of that "era", although I know most people would (wrongly) pick Take A Bow over it.

I feel like the Lightning Seeds are largely seen as a bit NAFF, and the constant titting around with Frank Skinner probably doesn't help But "Marvellous" is as uplifting as 90s pop got. They really did have some fabulous moments - "Sense" and "You Showed Me" are up there too Erasure in the early 90s - AMAZING. Erasure in the late 90s - MUCH MUCH LESS SO "Run To The Sun" and "Fingers And Thumbs" are definitely the post-"Pop!.." highlights
