Verka Serduchka - Danzing
Sorry but unless it's folk music from an impoverished nation set to a cheap dance beat fronted by an Elton John drag act dressed in a tinfoil jump suit then I'M NOT INTERESTED. A transexual Celine Dion does NOTHING FOR ME

Verka Serduchka - Danzing
Dancing Lasha Tumbai was the ONE SOLE moment I was actually able to get on board with Eurovision. It really was TREMENDOUS.

Misfits | Series 2
Well that's a bit of a disaster. The cast are great and all, but Robert Sheehan really was the star of the show, and they're going to have to REALLY pull something out of the bag to replace him.

EastEnders
When DID they start writing Jane to be so needy and dense? Ian yes, but never Jane.

Well of course you're quite right. We'll just keep her then and whilst we're at it we'll also add a Megan Fox forum JUST BECAUSE

Delta and Brian split up
Indeed. I suspect McFadden's song about RAPE is more likely to shift units than Delta these days.

EastEnders
True. Beyond Sal the only thing that really kept my interest vaguely was the continuing Tanya/Syed double-act who work bizarrely well together. Syed certainly is much less of a happiness VACUUM when he's around her rather than Christian.

EastEnders
Hurrah for Aunt Sal! I'm glad that Peggy's departure hasn't been the end of her random appearances (although I'm a little surprised - Sal isn't actually related to Ronnie or Roxy is she?)

EastEnders
I'm another one on the Kat/Jean bandwagon. They make for a wonderful duo, one that I think could quite easily rival the Stacey/Jean relationship. In fact I think I may actually like it more, for Kat seems to genuinely appreciate having Jean around rather than feeling obligated to look after her - it allows Jean to be much more than just the crazy old lady with the screechy voice. It's bringing out a PROPERLY maternal side to her, and Gillian Wright still has the ability to light up the most banal of scenes/conversations - who else but Jean could go into absolute raptures over cereal variety boxes?

S Club 7 Reunion - well kind of
That's AMAZING. I need to dig out that Flopstars Go Bad thread. Paul Cattermole's transformation is PERFECT.

CD Swap
Exactly. I submitted a CD that had the bloody CORRS on it, so I don't think anyone else needs to worry about not being alternative enough! (As an aside, Josh - the Kinks, Neon Indian and Ou Est Le Swimming Pool tracks have now become I-Pod regulars!)

Is that as in OUR Aaron?!

CD Swap
I know I'm hardly a regular Indie poster, and I've not bothered with Unknown Pleasures (let's face it, I'm not exactly "alternative"), but I really enjoyed the first CD swap, so I'd love to give this another go. However the idea of knowing who you're compiling music for does put me off a little. If you know who you're putting the CD together for, the obvious thing is to try and go for styles that you know that person would like, even if you know f***-all about that genre - and chances are then that the recipient may well already know half of the stuff that you're chucking them. Also I'd be completely f***ED if I got someone like Chris!
