TV BAFTAs 2017
Woohoo for Happy Valley and Sarah Lancashire ! Deserves every award it gets. I wish Unforgotten (starring Nicola Walker) was as well known - I enjoy that show just as much. Birrova unknown gem, I feel.

The British Soap Awards 2017
So pleased for John Middleton (and Charlotte too, of course). His acceptance speech (dramatic performance?) was lovely.

Worst gameshow ever
Babushka - just luck instead of skill. That plus Rylan. Tipping Point - It. Is. So. Slow.

Fearless
I'm watching this too. I'm not loving it, but will stick with it. My main thoughts were : I didn't know John Bishop did acting ! Isn't that Katie off Emmerdale ? Isn't that wossername who played Esther's sister(?) in Hollyoaks ? The main character doesn't half smoke a lot.

Taskmaster
Did I miss something, or did we not get to see why Mel kept putting the red wax seal things in her pocket ? All in all, an enjoyable series, and I liked all the players. I'd not seen nor heard of Lolly before.

Ackley Bridge
I watched the first episode and didn't like it. Too OTT for me. I wanted to like it. Hadn't seen Paul Nicholls since his Eastenders days, and I like EE Tanya (in EE, not in this). I decided to give it another go, but after episode two, I'm out. Agreed. She's the best thing about it.

REVIEW: Now That's What I Call Music! 44
Disc 1 faves 1 Geri - love the song, and I want to be her in the video ! :cheer: 2 Diana Ross - loved that song, bought the album in a bargain bin but didn't like it 3 Sixpence None The Richer - loved it, got sick of it, but now love it again. 4 Tina Turner - I can't remember this off the top of my head, but I know I like it when it's playing. 5 Shania Twain - way overplayed now so not loving it like I used to. Disc 2 faves 1 Geri - love this, and a certain remix too. Didn't like the video though. 2 Honeyz - my fav Honeyz song ! :cheer: 3 Vengaboyz - they are so much fun. 4 Gabrielle - I like her distinctive voice. 5 Tina Cousins - only got to know this one recently. I like. Fantasy Disc 3 faves 1 Adam Rickitt - I bought his album in the same bargain bin as Diana Ross on the same day. Only his album is good. No, really it is. His voice, not so much. 2 Steps - one of their best singles. 3 A1 - I bought their first album in a charity shop this week. :cheer: It's my first A1 album. 4 Thunderbugs - I had this single, then I got sick of it. Now I sorta miss it. 5 Fierce - I don't even know this one, but liked their other singles so probably woulda like this one too.

Gražios Dainos - 1999
01. (NE) Geri Halliwell - Look At Me (1) Fabulous ! 04. (02) Ellie Campbell - Sweet Lies (3-2-2-1-3-5-2-4) She deserved greater success - to have a string of top 10s. More people need to know her songs ! 09. (12) Jeanette Biedermann - Das Tut Unheimlich Weh (22-21-18-16-15-12-12-11-12-9) I still lurve that song. I won a CD of that years German selection, and the standard was very high but she was my fav. 13. (05) Maggie Toal and Andy McComish - I Won't Ever Let You Go (18-15-12-13-12-11-8-7-7-5-13) Irish selection wasn't as strong, but I really liked that one ! 33. (35) Ace Of Base - Always Have, Always Will (6-4-4-4-1-4-10-11-13-12-12-14-19-24-24-25-29-31-34-35-33) One of their best ! 35. (34) Faith Hill - This Kiss (4-5-6-8-8-10-12-12-14-13-15-19-24-25-27-27-30-30-32-34-35) Such a happy song. I can't listen to it without smiling. Amy Grants Baby Baby has the same effect. 36. (27) B*Witched - Blame It On The Weatherman (3-6-7-10-14-18-22-27-36) I can't decide if this is my fav B*Witched single, or I Shall Be There. 39. (38) Merril Bainbridge - Between The Days (10-6-3-5-11-11-15-15-15-15-16-20-25-27-29-31-34-37-37-38-39) I don't know this song (or anything outside of The Garden album) but it did make me go ''Oooh'' to see her name on a list.

Why weren't you a single
Kylie Turn It Into Love Look My Way Enjoy Yourself Enjoy Yourself / I'm Over Dreaming Over You Rhythm of Love I wanted more singles from this one !! The World Still Turns / Rhythm of Love Things Can Only Get Better Let's Get To It I don't mind that there weren't more singles from this one. Maybe a toss up between Right Here Right Now/Too Much of a Good Thing, both more instant than Word is Out Greatest Hits Where In The World - remains my all time fav Kylie song ! Kylie Minogue Time Will Pass You By - instead of Where Is The Feeling Impossible Princess I Don't Need Anyone - best song on there ! Light Years Your Disco Needs You - instead of Please Stay Fever Feels So Good (had it been on there) Fever - instead of Come Into My World Body Language Secret (Take You Home) X I don't really listen to this one, and can't really remember the non singles Aphrodite Aphrodite/ Too Much Kiss Me Once Mr President ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dannii Love And Kisses The album tracks aren't very good, so they got the single choices just right. Get Into You I think they got the singles right on this one too, though the album tracks are better than her first album. Girl It's Amazing/Heaven Can Wait Neon Nights No 'shoulda been singles' here. Hits & Beyond Love Fight

Body Language: Underrated Gem or Poor Follow-up?
I'm not keen on this album. I hated it at the time. I tried to make myself like it by listening to it a lot, so that it would grow on me like Impossible Princess (eventually) did. I ended up getting rid of Body Language years ago, and only re-bought it in Poundland a few months ago. I'm happy to have it again instead of that gap on the shelf ....but I'm still more likely to reach for any of her other albums.

The Duets
I vote for the Keith Washington duet If You Were With Me Now. I love it as much now as I did back then. Gorgeous.
