  2. Over here, that song was covered by a puppet called 'Dustin ' (he's a puppet of a turkey and is on kids tv everyday since Zig And Zag moved on),with the lyrics changed to 'Christmas Tree'.It got to number one I think (or close to it).He also had big hit here of a duet with Bob Geldof 'Rat Trap' or something. Awful. I remember liking the original 'Lemon Tree' though !

  10. The first Celine song I heard was 'Where Does My Heart Beat Now' - it got a lot of radio airplay here when it was a new release.I went and bought the cassette single and loved it's B Side too. Then she seemed to disappear.lol.I didn't hear a follow up single on the radio.Could not find an album in shops. Didn't expect to hear of her ever again, and then one day ( a year or two later?) I bought 'Last To Know' 7'' vinyl at a carboot sale, and then I went to another county many miles from where I live , found an independant music shop and it had two Celine cassette albums - 'Unison' and 'Celine Dion' ,so i bought them both, and they're both fab ! They got played daily. Since then ,I switched to cd and only have the following cd albums so far : 'Celine Dion' 'The Color Of My Love' 'Falling Into You' I keep meaning to buy 'Unison' on cd as that's my fave Celine album. Not that familiar with all her other stuff, except for the Titanic song.

I voted for Beauty And The Beast as it's the only one I really know.lol. I've heard the RKelly/Streisand/and Bee Gees duets a couple of times each but not enough to be familiar with them. I like Clive Griffin duet 'When I Fall In Love' best.
  12. The power of love vs. Love can move mountains Misled vs. Show some emotion Think Twice vs. If you asked me to Only one road vs. If you could see me now Everybody's talking my baby down vs. Halfway to heaven Next plane out vs. Did you give enough love Real emotion vs. If I were you When I fall in love vs.Beauty and the beast Love doesn't ask why vs. I love you, goodbye Refuse to dance vs. Little bit of love I remember L.A. vs. Water from the moon No living without loving you vs. With this tear Just walk away vs. Nothing broken but my heart The colour of my love vs. Where does my heart beat now
  13. I don't own all her albums.I only have : Mariah Carey ,Emotions, Music Box ,Daydream ,Merry Xmas, and Greatest Hits. Her debut album is by far the best, and is the main one that i listen to ! 'Prisoner' is my fav Mariah song, but I absolutely love every track on that album.
  14. I loved Wham! and his solo stuff too.I have all the albums and most of the singless, but listen to Wham that lil bit more,so 'Wham !' gets my vote. For me 'Patience' is his best solo album so far. Fav Wham single - 'Edge Of Heaven'. Fav George solo single - 'Outside' & 'Freeek !' I would have loved to have went to his concerts but they sold out quickly and cost an absolute fortune for a pair of tickets.
  15. Kylie - 'On A Night Like This '
  16. Oops! ok.... What kind of fool V Celebration Come into my world V Slow Red blooded woman V Chocolate :D

hahaa.I honestly remember nothing. No idea.(Bear in mind ,that was when I was 15.I'm now more than twice that age !!) I really only went to see it to make my sister in law jealous. She was a huge Michael fan (but I was not),and I liked going back to the Uk and saying ''I saw something you can't see - na na na na na nah !'' Yes I was that immature.lol. I think (and I could be completely wrong) that back then,Captain EO was shown exclusively at Disney World (or was it Epcot Center ?) and that ,that was the only place anyone could go see it ? I wonder is it still shown there,or has it ever been shown elsewhere or released in any format ? Anyway, the only way I can prove to myself that I saw it ,was that I took a photo of the poster while I queued.I don't have a scanner lol so I've just got my camera out and took a photo of the photo (if you know what I mean)..... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p185/bigbackdoor/jacko.jpg
  20. Thankyou Mariama. It was a long time ago that I saw him in concert.I don't even remember the year.lol.It was in the 1990s and he performed in Dublin (Landsowne Road ,i think).I remember that Siedah Garret performed that gorgeous duet with him,and that one of the support acts was Rozalla (she's best known for the hit 'Everybody's Free To Feel Good'). I was impressed with the show,we were very far away from the stage, lost in the corwd but it didn't seem to matter. It was still a very enjoyable day out. I didn't even buy any merchandise - not even a tour programme ! I'm sure you'll get the opportunity to see him some day.

They're his nephews.I think Tito is the father of the 3T guys. My mate reckons they released a single that was a duet with Michael, but I don't remember that, and he doesn't remember the title. He could be winding me up though.lol
  22. All I Wanna Do vs. Lately ( both fab but Dannii has the edge) I Begin To Wonder vs. Too Far Gone ( prefer Lisas song by far) Perfection vs. Electric ( pretty equal here but I give the point to lisa) Hes The Greatest Dancer vs. Never Or Now ( Never heard of 'Never Or Now') Dannii : 2 Lisa : 2
  23. I have her debut album playing. When it gets to 'Look My Way',I always put that track on for a second or third time.lol.It deserves repeated listens. 'Look My Way' (again)
  24. Posted by Aly: Aww so close ! Thanks for info : )
  25. lol I liked the song (but not the movie) 'NeverEnding Story' and have the 12'' of it somewhere, that I bought years after it was released.Kajagoogoo were popular before I ever bought music, although I am familiar with 'Too Shy'. I won a budget cd 'Best of Kagagoogoo & Limahl' recently on ebay.lol.It hasn't arrived yet.I'll be surprised if I like even more than 2 songs. I watched Limahl on a tv show a few weeks ago,and one of the presenters (off screen) dialed his number so that his mobile (that was in his pocket) would ring on air.The ringtone was of 'NeverEnding Story' and the audience were laughing, and he looked a bit embarassed.I felt a bit sorry for him.Aww. I never had any interest in Duran Duran though.
