  1. I voted for 'Put Yourself In My Place'. I didn't know that 'Where The Wild Roses Grow' wasn't a top ten hit.I always thought it had been.
  2. The loco-motion V I should be so lucky - 'Lucky' is the song that got me hooked, but it's been overplayed. Got to be certain V Je ne sais pas pourquoi - Both fab,but I preferred Made in Heaven to JNSPP.How did JNSPP get all the glory and Made In Heaven become forgotten/unheard by the joe public ? Especially for you V It's no secret - Love It's No Secret. Love Especially For You too,but don't love Jasons voice so much. Turn it into love V Hand on your heart Wouldnt change a thing V Never too late Tears on my pillow V Better the devil you know Step back in time V What do I have to do Shocked V Word is out If you were with me now V Keep on pumpin it - I don't think I know that one.Or is it no good and I've forgotten it ? lol Give me just a little more time V Finer feelings - I don't kno WHY Finer Feelings was released as a single. What kind of fool V Celebration - Don't like either of these.Sorry. Confide in me V Put yourself in my place - Love '...Place- and she looks beautiful in the video. Where is the feeling? V Where the wild roses grow- The album version of WITF is wonderful, but the single was just awful. Some kind of bliss V Did it again Breathe V Cowboy style - Oh man that's harsh.I like both of them. GBI V Spinning Around - I know that I know GBI,but canot for the life of me,think of how it goes. On a night like this V Kids Please stay V Your disco needs you - Possibly her weakest single Vs her greatest single ! Butterfly V Can't get you out of my head - No sir.Just cannot choose between them.Equal match there. Both fabulous. in your eyes V Love at first sight - Come into my world V Slow - Don't like these. Red blooded woman V Chocolate - Nor these.Sorry. I believe in you V Giving you up
  3. I love this song !!!!! I like Atomic kitten and it just beggars belief that the title track from their second album wasn't a single. It would have been a number one for sure ! I never knew about Kylies version until just last week.I love it too.Definately coulda been a hit single for her instead. I think what I'm trying to say ,is that a song THAT good should have been a hit single for someone !! I might prefer the Kittens version, just a teeny tiny bit,but really BOTH kylie and the Kittens are rated 10/10 by me.
  4. I'm not mad about either song (though I'm a huge fan of both Kylie and Dannii). Uhmm....I vote for 'Confide In Me'
  5. I forget their names. I think the Irish guy looks like ex housemate 'Maxwell' (of Maxwell and Saskia 'fame').The Greek guy looks like Darius Danesh. I didn't like the intro video clips where each of them bragged about how easy it is for them to get people to sleep with them. That doesn't impress me,it puts me off if anything.lol. Once inside the house, the Greek guy came across quite well in the brief moments that were shown. The Irish guy (he IS Irish isn't he ?) came across badly. It looked (especially in the diary room) as if he took an immediate dislike to the Greek guy ,for no apparent reason.Am I reading too much into something that isn't there ?

I saw the 'Captain Eo' at DisneyWorld Florida, when I was aged 15.We went there on a school trip, that's many many years ago (more than I care to admit to).lol. Sooo long ago that I don't remember anything about the film, although I did take a photo of the poster that must have been dispalyed outside where you queue or something.I guess it must be the same pic as 'Dino' posted (above),I'd have to flick through photo album to be sure.lol, I think it's a 3D film isn't it ? I forget.
  7. I voted for 'Human Nature'.Maybe I like 'Billie Jean' more but I felt sorry for Human Nature not getting any votes. Come to think of it...what was that song by an all girl trio that sampled 'Human Nature' ? I think.Or am I dreaming ? I'm sure I bought it way back when - in the 1990s was it ? Oh lord ,that's gonna wreck my head now trying to think of it.lol

I bought the cassette single of 'Anything' (I think that's what it was called). How many years ago was that ? I know I liked it,and was very impressed with their voices. With their voices plus their good looks ,I was expecting them to have a huge teen following and to have a string of hit singles, but they just seemed to disappear. Were their follow up singles just not any good,or not get airplay ? I never heard them anyway. I saw 3T (are they still called that ?) briefly a couple of weeks ago on David Gests tv show. They've grown into handsome men and still sound good too.Could a comeback be on the cards ? Actually ,I don't think I'd call it a comeback. They're still young and it would almost be like launching a new act ,as I don't think the majority of Joe Public actually remember them from last time 'round.
  9. Awww thanks for the welcome Nicky : ) Yes,I'll be popping in an out ,so you're stuck with me now.lol

I vote for 'Speed Demon' to go.
  12. Hello ! Just thought I'd pop in here for a nosey.I wouldn't say I'm a big fan of Janet or Michael.lol.So why am I here ? I love Janets early work - I listen to the following CDs over and over and over again : 'Janet Jackson','Dream St','Control' , 'Control The Remixes',and 'Rhythm Nation1814'. I bought two or three of the albums that followed, but they didn't really do it for me.The last new one for me was 'All For You' and I only liked a couple of the tracks.I haven't actually heard any of her other songs since then :o As for Michael - I used to have a couple of his cassettes many years ago.I really should get the 'Bad' album on cd as I loved that - I really do think I should get that again,to remind myself of how good he can be.The first concert I ever went to was a Michael Jackson concert.I wasn't mad about all his songs but he's a legend and who knows when he might play here again,so I couldn't miss the opportunity. It was a great show. The only cd I have by him is a 'live' one - I think it's a bootleg thingy ,that came from ebay.I might listen to it tomorrow,in honour of this forum .lol. Rebbie Jackson - I love her voice.I bought my first Rebbie album last year.I'm still tracking down the others nd think I'm only missing one now.I wish she'd get back into the recording studio and make more music. La Toya - my favourite (in that,I love almost all the songs I've heard so far).It shocks me that she's my favourite as I'd never heard ANY of her songs until last year, and now I'm hooked !
  13. I bought Solid Harmonies album just recently off Ebay, even though I'd never heard any of their songs before.lol.I liked Honeyz and figured there would be a good chance I'd like Solid Harmonie because of the Mariama connection.Plus the cd was only 3 euro or something.lol. It's very good, and includes a cover of boyband 'Hi Five' ''She's Playing Hard to Get'' (but re -titled 'HE'S playing Hard To Get'). I liked Hepburn too but I only ever bought the single 'I Quit' and never heard their others..I knew the singer released a solo album and I loved her cover of Lisa Loeb but I never knew the Hepburn girls name,so I'm glad it's been mentioned on this thread- now I know who to search for on ebay (if it's going cheap)! She has a very distinctive voice.I like.
  14. I love Debbie Gibson !! I remember buying all the 7'' singles from her first two albums way back when they were new releases. I have a few of her albums too ,but kinda lost track of her since the release of the fabulous 'Deborah' cd ,back in.....(** goes and look at back of cd case**)...blimey was that really as far back as 1997 !? Sounds like I have a bit of catching up to do. lol. She really does have an amazing voice that deserves to be heard !
  15. Posted by Geriboy: Agreed ! It's not even that it's a bad song or anything .It's not. She sounds amazing on it.For me,it just wasn't immediate. Not a catchy enough follow up to 'Ride It'. I found that with 'Desire' - I had to listen to it like a million times before I could remember how it goes.I liked it ,I still do.It's a shame it didn't chart a lil bit higher.Oh well.
  16. 'Bumper To Bumper' ( I've always listened to it more than 'Wannabe' ,though that's fab too!)

Naked. Geris 'Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps' or 'These Boots Are Made For Walking'
  18. SUCH a fun song.Loves it.Definately would have been another number one single, had it been released. I love the bit where they sing their nicknames... ''SCARy,BAYbee,GINger,POSH.SPAAWty....''

Geri Halliwell by a country mile. She's beyond fabulous ! For me,it's Geri 1st,followed by MelB,then Emma, then Victoria ,and finally Mel C.

I love every single track .......erm ....except 'You're In A Bubble'. I would have liked 'Goodnight Kiss' to have been a single - it is such a gorgeous song.
  21. I remember before the release of 'Ride It' / 'Passion',it was rumoured she was doing a cover of Madonnas 'Cherish.I would have LOVED that to have been true. Maybe a Madonna cover to launch the Hits album ? I wish. I'd love a Bananrama cover too ,but not 'Venus' -I'm even tired of Bananaramas version of that (and I love me some Nanas). 'Love In The First Degree' would be my first choice.
  22. I voted for 'It's Raining Men' - although some days my fav would be the almighty edit of 'Lift Me Up'. I love a lot of her album tracks even more than her singles.I think a few more hits could have been squeezed out of her second album - some tracks were just beggin to be singles i.m.o.
  23. 1 & 1 Imaani & Precious - I can't choose between them ! Both fabulous ! 3 Scooch 4 Gina G 5 Javine 6 Lindsay D 7 Katrina & Waves 8 Jessica Garlick 9 James Fox 10 Nicki French 11 Daz Sampson 12 Jemini ( awful song.Should have sent Emily Reed instead - she came second in the uk selection that year)
