EastEnders
So obvious Ben was going to stop Jay. As soon as someone tries to flee, its always last minute they are stopped.

Champions League 2017/18
..... and they are there as Azerbaijan's first ever CL team!!!. Must be the first team to represent a Ghost Town also.

EastEnders
Boyfriend winding me up asking questions like "whys this happening?", "why did Max make that lie up?". Told him to watch it and find out for himself because that is how a television program works. If he goes on again tonight ill just reply "Its a soap!!, stop over reacting!". Yet he tells me the same when in this scene in The Simpsons, Marge is turning the steering wheel of her car while telling Lisa, Homer is "a changed person", yet the car don't appear to be moving.

World Cup Qualifying
Other half said it was about 7:30 ish UK time. Was the first World Cup he watched.

World Cup Qualifying
Good idea that competition, gets rid of the pointless friendlies. Bet England will still draw the joke teams in qualifying rounds for the WC, seeing the NL also is used for Euro Champs qualification.

World Cup Qualifying
I remember when as soon as England won that penalty against Slovenia, the camera went right on his mug straight away. Almost made me vommit.

World Cup Qualifying
.. and drawing them or San Marino in every qualifying round. England fans are so full of themselves for always getting easy groups, citing "Top seeds!haha!". The point is, from every pot they get the weakest or second weakest team almost every time. Still, they really made a meal out of "Group E-A-S-Y" in 2010.

World Cup Qualifying
My other half did that when he was 13 watching on a black and white TV in his bedroom!. Would love to see Egypt qualify, was well annoyed when they got robbed at the AFCON final, but at least getting to the final built the foundations to rebuild and make them a force again (spent a few years away from the AFCON also).

World Cup Qualifying
Bulgarian football i find interesting, as well as all the other obscure European leagues. Estonian one has grounds that wouldnt look out of place in Sunday league. Am thinking of making a trip to Tallinn and watch Levadia play against Flora.

World Cup Qualifying
Good, cannot stand the baked bean head. Very sad day when he overtook Charlton's record, but he has a World Cup Winners medal, so i doubt he even cared.

Cassettes
Didn't Feeder have the number 1 vinyl with "Borders"?. My other half is a huge fan and has everything they have released, bar a few white label pressings that are far too expensive for him!. He's dragging me over to Chepstow for their homecoming gig this weekend, any excuse for a holiday!. It will be my first time seeing them and his 50th. Nice band who also are doing their bit to try and create a niche collectors market for cassettes, like the one we have right now for vinyl. He also likes Mansun and Paul Draper; he bought his album on cassette, vinyl and limited edition 3x CDs

Pharrel Williams must have huge shares in some botox company!.

EastEnders
Writing "woke up and it was all a dream" to end a story was seen as a right NO during schooldays. Even a few films ended like it and was just a huge feeling of being cheated and fobbed off by the writers. Last night's Eastenders however hit a new low.

His on-screen father is the guy in the photo who later starred in "Benidorm". https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/t...-Jase_Brown.jpg 13 years later in Eastenders

EastEnders
Just how ridiculous was that ending?. Also, soap episodes (unlike comedies) with just two characters in them never seem to work.
-
EastEnders
The actor who played Jase at the time in 1994, was a binman in a BBC comedy called "Common As Muck", he really aged a lot between then and his Eastenders appearances.

Worst gameshow ever
Remember "Whittle"?, that was basically an Everybody's Equal rip off according to my other half (too young to remember it myself, but an early Channel 5 show). Move on Up he also remembers and some awful karaoke show called "Night Fever". I'm 28 and he's 37 so remembers all this crap  He also told me "Prisoners Dilemna" was first used in "Trust Me" back in 2000. A gameshow hosted by Nasty Nick Bateman. Shown late on Channel 4.

Worst gameshow ever
Shafted, remember that?. It was a gameshow hosted by Kilroy, shown in mid 2001, 20 episodes got filmed but ITV pulled the plug after 4. On one of the unaired episodes, a lady cried because she missed out on a lot of money, when she elected to share the winnings, while her opponent opted to take it all. In 2014 it was ripped on terribly many times on "Have I Got News For You?", with a clip of Kilroy saying the "Share, or to shaft?" tagline and the associated hand movements, which HIGNFY hugely mentioned. I was 11 or 12 at the time, but remember it well. Then i never thought any other show would come along and be worse, until Saturday night when Len Goodman's new show "Partners in Rhyme" came on. From the point of the intro and awful theme song sung by Len, I knew we were in for a car crash. Ant and Dec did this much better with "Wonky Donkey" on SM:TV Live.

Women's Euro 2017
Best team won and not some anti-football outfit like at the mens event last summer.

REVIEW: Now That's What I Call Music! 52
https://youtu.be/6JuExe7vb78 It was a "!" shown in place of the chart position. It would have made #10 otherwise. If the disqualified copies had the right number of tracks, I bet they would have still sold. It was played on radio loads up to release.

REVIEW: Now That's What I Call Music! 52
Space Cowboy only got as low as it did due to a formatting technicality. I remember it on TOTP with a "?" shown as the chart placing.
-
Sounds Like Friday Night
Didn't Tony Chrisite appear the week before performing this?

Sounds Like Friday Night
TOTP used to have acts below the top 20 and/or top 40 if they were up and coming acts. Hope this show does the same.
