I've just listened to it again in the hope that i missjudged the first listen :no: OMG i'm praying they don't release this as a lead single. I'm a huge fan of the Babes so i'll get the album regardless, but it's still an awful song and nothing compared to Freak like Me or About You Now. Even Shape and Change were better then this cobbled together pile of poo! Sugababes used to have something about them which made them stand apart from other girl groups and it lasted right up until just before Mutya left. Thankfully I did love About You Now (one of my all time Suga faves) but the majority of Change didn't have a patch on Taller in More Ways/Three and especially Angels with Dirty Faces :no:. This 'Girls' could have been sung by any Tom, Dick and Harriet and quite frankly three years ago this wouldn't have been fit for a Babes b-side. They should have waited a bit longer instead of rushing this out. Rant over :P :kink:

Yeah, i did miss all that. The only promo I can recall was the 30 second intro on GMTV, Jo Whiley interview and The Kylie Show (which was good, but the audience were totally $h!te) I really think they should have got out there and promoted better, and not nessasarily interviews with Kylie personally (she's a very busy lady :P ) but they should have had posters, billboards and magazine covers galore. Opportunity missed :cry: Come to think of it, maybe they should have played it safer by realising 2 singles before the album. That way when 2 Hearts didn't set the world alight they would still have been able to save the album by releaseing a killer 2nd single beforehand. I also think releaseing Wow the way they did was a complete mistake. They should have moved the physical date forward by at least a month - it was hanging around on downloads since about Xmas to mid Feb. Although personally i wouldn't have released Wow anyway :no:

I geniunely do love it. On par with 2 Hearts for the best X video :cheer: Despite the low budget and lack of time she's done a really good job on it. Certainly better then the borefest that was Wow. I hope her next era videos are AMAZING though. (And I'm not knocking 'The One' here) but the last video of Kylie that i really loved was Come Into My World :unsure: I Believe in You was nice as was 2 Hearts, but to be honest, most of her videos pre 2002 have all been a bit bleh. Anybody agree??

I've just heard Girls..... :unsure: ...... :blink: I don't like it atall. It sounds a mess and after hearing it on the telly 24/7 i don't think it will grow on me either. I really hope it's not the first single What have they done :cry: :cry: :cry: At least i've still got Pinks new one to keep me going - Wow, all these new tracks being premiered one after another, it's like christmas lmao!!

Yeah, it was recorded the Friday and Saturday before last I think (August 1st and 2nd) Don't quote me on it though! :P

I was shopping the other day and they were playing a version of Wow as sung by a session singer. OMG is was truly hideous :no: It sounded so cheap and awful. I mean either play the real thing or play something else completely! The piano intro sounded like it was being played on a kiddies keyboard :wacko:

I hope the video gets a proper release on the X Tour DVD. It seems like such a waste otherwise. She has an amazing video, yet only a handful of people will ever even know it exists :(

Loveboat was the weakest part of the X show for me. I couldn't even remember the words - and as my friend said, I always know the words to Kylies songs :o :P Whens the #1 being revealed???

I've only seen the first half at the moment, but i love this bit just before the first chorus where a fan of Kylies appear. It seems to be a great video and looks miles better then the previous X vids. :dance:

It should just carry on as normal. I can't wait to see it all again :w00t: I hope they don't cut all the best bits out! :P

2 Hearts is absolutely NOT the worst Kylie songs ever :no:! I love it, but do agree it shouldn't have been single #1. It definaltely is single material though :w00t: I would have gone: 1 - Like a Drug 2 - The One 3 - 2 Hearts 4 - Speakerphone I keep changing my mind on what tracks I would have perferred on X, but at the moment my mind says it should have been (in no particular order :P ) 1 - Like a Drug 2 - The One 3 - 2 Hearts 4 - Speakerphone 5 - In My Arms 6 - Sensitized 7 - No More Rain 8 - Stars 9 - All I See 10 - Nu-di-ty 11 - Cherry Bomb 12 - King and Queen 13 - Lose Control

I can't wait to hear it, Despite being a big Kylie fan i've never heard Rhythm of Love or Let's Get to It. I've never listened to any of the tracks (apart from the singles or the mixes released on Greatest Remix Hits :P) because I was waiting to get them on a CD first. It's like i'm awaiting a new K album all over again :w00t:

I didn't actually hear it until Wednesday (I don't listen to the radio, and I don't have the music channels on often now either) but I love it. I think the Change era was ruined after the HIDEOUS second single choice. What the hell were they thinking releasing Change????? :no: After immediately falling in love with About You Now I had high hopes for the album, but apart from several really good tracks the rest were all a bit bleh and to be honest it's the only Sugababes album i don't really listen too :( I'm still looking forward to album #6 though. I really wish they would go back and do some more 'Freak Like Me' / 'Round Round' type tracks. They knock socks off anything off of Change.

I quite like Kookachoo, It fits well in the album and it's quite quirky :dance: . It's nowhere near as bad as Loveboat. I hope thats your #1. My absolute least fave Kylie song pre 2000 (actually, probabbly one of my least favourite Kylie songs ever :mellow: )

I still think we should all be very proud of ourselve (all Kylie fans, not just the ones on BJ) that we actually managed to get it top 40 in the first place. In this digital age that is quite an achievement in itself. I'm suprised it didn't fall more to be honest. I was expecting it to go 36-140 :unsure: (if i'm honest, this time two weeks ago i was expecting it to go 120-180 :P) I just celebrated by finally buying Rhythm of Love off eBay for £4 :w00t: I've been after that album for about 4 years and have never found it for a decent price :yahoo:
