I thought MALTA was awful. But LITHUANIA was the worst!! How did it do so well? I really thought the UK and GERMANY would do better. Bit surprised IRELAND finished Top 10 - but the song is growing on me.

I'd say Gnarls has the momentum to spend at least one more week at No.1. The sales are still pretty decent.

I used to be obsessed with that song she had out in the mid-90's. "I Love You Always Forever" - I think it was called.

I thought the video was fantastic & very funny!! It's obviously a piss-take of all the PSB videos from the "VERY" album, when they did those strange stylised-futuristic videos. I suppose for people who are not familiar with those videos the joke may be lost (I don't mean that in a nasty way!).

Were they that five-piece girl group that was launched in the late-90's (as a kind of new SPICE GIRLS) to much hype, but bombed? I've been trying to remember their name for ages. Am I thinking of the right group??

It's just a stupid dumb novelty record that has taken off over here. It's not even getting that much airplay (although PAT SHORTT is hugely popular). I VERY much doubt it's the biggest selling single of all-time in Ireland as reported in the original article...

I can think of a couple from the mid-1980's but am racking my brain to think of some from the 90's & 00's...
