Totally agree. It's the worst song on the album by far. Got my copy yesterday. Generally I think the album is pretty good. Am loving "Miles Away", "Heartbeat" and "Beat Goes On" so far.

I downloaded my copy from I-Tunes Ireland yesterday. I don't think it's her best work but it's a pretty solid album and not the disaster some were predicting. My fave songs are "Miles Away", "Heartbeat" and "Beat Goes On". There are a few dud tracks on it - but the same could be said for most Madonna albums. I think it will do pretty well. I predict first week sales of between 100k - 120k. And will probably end up hitting (or coming close to) the million mark in total sales.

Am I correct in thinking that the last Madonna song to go to No.1 in Ireland was "Like A Prayer" way back in 1989? I can't remember any of her subsequent singles hitting the top spot here. (I'm not including "Me Against The Music" which is really a Britney song in fairness).

Well said. Couldn't agree more. 40+ plus songs per year getting to No.1 totally delavued the charts. Hyped-up songs debuting at No.1 and then plummeting down the charts. At least nowadays it's actually a bit of an achievement scoring a No.1 hit again.

Well, I would see it as a more suitable release. I think it's much more radio-friendly and more likely to be a mainstream hit. And aside from all that, I just think it's just a better song.

Yeah, it really is a weird one. I think "Take A Bow" is one of Madonna's best singles also. Her biggest ever hit in the U.S. and one of her rare flops here. As a side note, one of my other all-time favourite Madonna songs "Oh Father" is another of her few singles not to go Top 10 in the U.K.

I'm definitely in the minority on this one! I think it's a terrible choice as a single. I think "The One" or even "All I See" would be more obvious choices as a third single. I know these things are a matter of personal preference but I'm honestly baffled that so many people in this thread rate this song so highly. I think it will miss the Top 10.

When the news first broke last year that Madonna would be working with Timbaland on her new album I thought it sounded like a disaster waiting to happen. So I for one am pleasantly surprised by "4 Minutes". It's much better than I was expecting. I really like it! I don't think it has a chance of getting to No.1 with the physical release so far off. I think it will be lucky if it goes Top 3.

I saw this cover on Amazon just a few minutes ago and was quite shocked! I don't like it! It reminds me a bit of the "Human Nature" video.

It looks kind of fake to me.

I honestly think that's another "Nil Points" for the UK this year. It's utterly bland. Am shocked Michelle Gayle didn't win. I think it would have been the UK's strongest entry since 1997.

I like "Sleep" a lot. Really good song.

I'm liking the song more than I thought I would. Sounds quite good turned up to maximum volume on my mp3 player. However, I can't really see it doing that well in the charts. I think her commercially successful days are behind her.

I love The Beautiful South. "Good As Gold" is an absolute pop gem.

I like Texas. My favourite song is "Inner Smile" and my favourite album is "Southside".

I really like Piece of Me. Hope it does well. Also, liked Gimme More. I've never bought a Britney album in my life but I'm tempted maybe to buy Blackout.

I absolutely adore that Feeder track. Fantastic track and great video.

I think "Madgestic" would be a great name for her supposed Greatest Hits album that will be released after "Licorice".
