I personally adore 'Ta Dah' and think it is so much better than their debut album. 'Ta Dah' is so silky and slick and in my opinion there are so many songs which are good enough to be released as singles'. I think the best most single worthy songs on the album are 'I Don't Feel Like Dancin' 'She's My Man' 'I Can't Decide' 'Land Of A Thousand Words' 'Kiss You Off' and possibly 'Paul McCartney although I'm not too sure on that one. What songs from the album do you think are the best single worthy songs that should be released?
  2. I felt 'Moodswings' was ok and had a good video but tbh I was expecting something a bit better and a little more special as I had previously heard so many people praising the song so when I came to hear it I found it very average and am not surprised it didn't do very well. I think it should have been the third single after 'Crazy Chick' and 'Call My Name'. Whilst I don't mind it, 'Even God Can't Change The Past' was never going to be a particularly big hit as it really isn't very commercial.
  3. What an apporpriate title to sum up their career.

    It missed the top 75.

ouch yeah lol it really is very appropriate. I thought it would have missed the top 40 at least as it is so dull and drab. Where outside the top 75 did it actually chart?

Charlotte Church has parted company with her record label SonyBMG due to TV commitments and a book coming out early next year. She plans to return to music in 2008 and I expect that SonyBMG's decision to part with her has something to do with the poor sales of her debut pop album and the flops of her past two singles. I personally quite liked her solo pop singles though apparantly her album 'Tissues and Issues' was very boring and bland.
  5. So accurate you miss WESTLIFE and THE BEATLES off it?

It can't be very accurate if you miss two of the biggest releases of the whole year off can it

That was a slight mistake and I think that I actually had Westlife listed on a different week.

Above is The New Album Releases Schedule. As usual if you have any comments, queries, or needed additions then please feel free to pm me or post them in this thread.

  7. Louis sed he is going to give them a record deal :)

yeah I know and I really hope that he will but technically, he dosn't have the power to do that as he dosn't work for an actual label. Simon revealed that even if Ben dosn't win, EMI are already interested in him which is good news but I really do hope Eton Road get a contract as well.

Eton Road and Ben soooooo should not have been in the bottom two. In my opinion that it the best quality bottom two in the history of the show and tonight officially gained the highest number of votes for the final five stage of the show ever in X Factor history. Ray should finally have gone. Ben is gonna get to the final and get a record deal and I really hope and pray that Eton Road also do as they really are so dam good. Also, despite all the abuse and slating he gets Louis Walsh is such a nice, honest guy who despite what Simon and others say, he really does know what he is doing and what he is talking about.

It's full of errors anyway. I don't know why he bothers.

It is actually very accurate and whether you agree with me or not I really do not care as I realise that it is up to date and accurate. Schedule to follow.

  10. JON The album release schedule looks pretty slim, are you sure there isn't some missing.

Yeah I know what you mean however, I have been working on it for a bit and have now made all the neccessary additions and alterations. Yes at the moment a few weeks December 11, December 18 and December 25 are still a bit quiet however, they will get busier as time progresses and release dates are altered etc.

  11. JON is correct it seems......

    Launch (Yahoo) Music...

The Beatles are outselling Oasis and U2 in the race to top this week's album chart.

Thirty-six years after they split, the band are heading for number one again.

Their Love album, soundtrack to the Las Vegas show based on their music, is just ahead of nearest rival Stop The Clocks by Oasis.

But there are only 200 copies in it and Oasis could overtake them before the week is out, according to music chain HMV.

U2's 18 Songs is in third place.

Westlife are also in the running with The Love Album.

The four groups are expected to sell well over a million copies between them during the next few weeks as they battle it out to be the best-selling album in the run-up to Christmas.

"Based on initial sales, it looks like first day honours may just go to The Beatles, which comes as no surprise given the nature of their fanbase," said HMV's Gennaro Castaldo.

"But it may be that Oasis will sell more over the week to go to number one, while U2 and Westlife will aim to shift more copies over the Christmas period as a whole."

Aha thats it. I couldn't remember the source so thanks for that. I expect that come Sunday, The Beatles will slip to 3 and Oasis will be number 1 followed by U2 at number 2 with The Beatles and Westlife fighting it out for top 3.

  12. I really like this guy and have been impressed with all three of his singles however I hope I'm wrong but I really feel that his album released this week is gonna flop big time as it hasn't been advertised and releasing whilst he's on the other side of the world stuck in a jungle is hardly gonna improve his chances. I'm not entirely sure when this single is released, but again its had very little promotion and video and airplay so again I hope I'm wrong, but I think this is gonna struggle for top 30 however yet again its a great song just like his other two singles.
