New Release Schedule - 30 October 2006
woops sorry lol meant October now edited. Emma's album has been put back a week to December 4th. I'm not sure thats such a good idea as I'm a bit worried it may quickly slip down the charts due to the mad christmas rush although I really do hope that she does well and dosn't quickly slip down and out of the charts. I really love her version of 'Downtown' and the video featuring all the SCD contestants is great. I think and hope that the song will do a whole lot of good for her, the reaction has been very positive so far and should hopefully prove to be a big hit along with the album.

First Premiership manager to be sacked this season?
ye lol that would be. I really like Preston and really do hope they finally get promoted. For a start the legendary David Moyes used to manage them and got them promoted from the third division to the championship and to the The Championship Play Off Final only for them to lose. Billy Davies is another red haired Scot who did a really good job in charge and now Paul Simpson is doing a really good job as well. Preston are a really good club who are really well managed and you never ever hear fans complaining or saying sack the board etc. Something that a lot of people don't realise is that for his first couple of years in charge of Preston, David Moyes was player manager and that is a very tough job which a lot of people struggle to combine the two of them and inevitably it costs the team and their position in charge so all credit to David Moyes for doing so well in charge of Preston and doing so well that he got the Everton job where he has and still is doing such a great job. Up the blues!

First Premiership manager to be sacked this season?
yeah agreed although it is Sheffield United not Wednesday. Sheffield Wednesday recently sacked Paul Sturrock and are gonna announce their new manager on Sunday which is thought to be Scunthorpe Manager Brian Laws. I think and really hope that Reading will stay up although I'm not convinced that Sheffied United will stay up. I also think that Watford will struggle although I've got a feeling they may stay up by one or two points above the relegation zone.

Alesha - Knockdown
oh really. Well if that is true then I never knew that. Were only thousand copies made for Totally Boyband group Upper Streets flop but rather catchy single 'The One' ?

First Premiership manager to be sacked this season?
yep same.

Alesha - Knockdown
yeah well for all those thinking her album may still be released let me tell you now that there is absoloutely no chance whatsoever it'll be released after this big flop and the relative flop of her debut single and rather catchy 'Lipstick'.

Alesha - Knockdown
yeah your in a way right although all her singles especially 'Electric' which was the single from Totally Scott Lee slipped out of the charts incredibly quickly. 'Electric' went from 13 to 41 and that is what you call a big flop lol. Also, although it was with Intenso Project she also released the incredibly awful and cheesy 'Get It On' which charted at number 23.

Totally Boyband Upper Street
yeah agreed.

New Release Schedule - 30 October 2006
I've just realised that the 27th October is a tough week. G4, Take That and Emma Bunton all releasing their new albums. G4 and Emma Bunton are both releasing their third albums. G4 have done it so much more quickly than Emma Bunton who seems to have a two or three year break before releasing a new album. Take That will get to number 1 with G4 definate top 4 and Emma Bunton top 10. I'll definately be buying G4's new album 'Act Three' and probably be buying Emma Buntons new album 'Life In Mono'

New Release Schedule - 30 October 2006
kk thanks. Woo she's looking good and doing well on SCD. Only reason I watch it is due to her and Louisa. I like her new single and lead track off her track 'Downtown'.

Anastacia - In Your Eyes
Its no surprise that Pieces Of A Dream flopped despite Flaunt and a few other music channels playing it to death, it was very depressing and in my opinion one of her worst ever singles if not her worst. You'll Never Be Alone though should have done a lot better and at least got top 20 if not top 10 as its such a great, personal song. Another Anastacia ballad that should have done better was 'Heavy On My Heart' which was about her expierience with Cancer and every penny raised went to The Breast Cancer Foundation so its a very worthy cause which should have done better and should have charted higher than number 22. Not sure how this would have done but don't think it would have been a very big hit. I reckon it would chart somewhere in between 23 - 31.

Alesha - Knockdown

Totally Boyband Upper Street
Incredibly unsurprisingly the MTV Totally Boyband flop Upper Street have split after their disasterous chart placing of their debut single 'The One'. On Sunday it charted at a highly embarrasing number 35 and what makes it even more embarrasing is that got lots of promotion through the music channels and MTV including a Totally Boyband live show which was shown everyday for one hour on MTV which almost everyday played the single. All the members of the group came from highly successful groups in which they sold millions of records with and this flop has pretty much ended any chance whatsoever of any of them recapturing their fame and starting out on solo careers. I actually really like the song and was surprised how it has flopped. In my opinion throughout the whole show Dane and especially the guy from New Kids On The Block (sorry can't remember his name) have been sooooo cocky and over confident so this flop will no doubt have really stunned them. I like the guy from 911 (again sorry can't remember his name) and really like Bradley who seems really down to earth, and has a really sensible father who gives him good advice and behind the scenes I think Bradley and his family are quite religious. On Sundays episode it showed the band placing bets on where they think their single will chart. Dane placed a large bet on it going to number 1 whilst the guy from New Kids On The Block and the guy from 911 also placed decent size bets on it going top 5 however sensible and more realistic Bradley placed a £3 bet on it charting at number 8. Concept Music and their manager Jonathan Shatliff have now parted company with the group and decided not to work on an album with them so the group have split and I expect that Sunday nights final episode which shows the placing of their single, will also show the group split up.

Alesha - Knockdown
correct. Her album will be cancelled and she will be dropped. I don't have anything against her or anything but this is exactly what I predicted to happen - her second single will flop, her album will be cancelled due to the major flop of her two singles especially the second and she will be dropped which will mean her solo career will be over and she won't be heard of for a few years until a Miss Teeq one off reunion gig.

First Premiership manager to be sacked this season?
Who does Clive Allen work for again? Also, yes Boothroyd has done a really good job in charge of Watford although I can't for a long, long while see him being a future England manager as really he needs to manage a big club before he considered for the job. Also, I'm not that convinced they'll survive in The Premiership this season although I really hope they do. I especially hope that Reading survive. They have a good squad, have done quite well since getting promoted and have a proven, quality manager in Steve Coppell.

'Ten Feet High/Shame On You' (June 25th) - Andrea Corr
yepyep hopefully

'Ten Feet High/Shame On You' (June 25th) - Andrea Corr
I really hope she does well as The Corrs are a nice family group with good music and it seems like she is getting a lot of coverage with regards to the fact that she is going solo however, I feel that she should be more of an album artist as to be honest I not sure I can see her doing very well releasing singles. I don't think she's someone who the average age of single buyers which is teenagers and 20 odd year olds would buy so I think she would be better off being an albums only artist however I hope I'm wrong and that she is successful in both releasing singles and albums although if she does flop on both then that could cause a slightly tricky and embarrasing situation with regards to The Corrs releasing new stuff as that could have a bad impact on them so I think she's taking a risk but I hope it pays off.

Alesha - Knockdown
It is out this week and just like I predicted its flopping and is outside the top 40 in the top 60.

New Release Schedule - 30 October 2006
Due to probably being worried it wouldn't do well, Ashcrofts label Paraphone have decided that this will be a 7* release only so it won't chart.
-
Pussycat dolls - Wait A Minute
This will definately not be a particularly big hit but may get top 20 if not top 15. Although with a sixth release, they really are killing the album and droning it out. Also, no matter where it charts, it will slip down and out of the charts very quickly due to the mad christmas chart rush and releases etc.
-
Alesha - Knockdown
Due to the physical release being put back a week yet downloads charted yesterday, this will now definately flop and due to downloads alone having already counted, they can't on their own count again so I actually think this could miss the top 40. If it does then she is soooo over and will be dropped which will see the end to her short, unsuccessful solo career.

TIPs Chart Singles Prediction Game
Is Keane's 'Nothing In My Way' actually released this week? I have seen very little promotion for it and haven't actually heard it myself. Also it appears that WoolWorths aren't stocking it which for a Keane song is quite unusual.

First Premiership manager to be sacked this season?
I can't see and hope that Roeder dosn't get the sack this season. When he was West Ham manager I really didn't like him and found him ever so boring however, I've got this thing with caretaker managers who get the job permenanty that I want them to do really well. A lot of the time unfortunately, they have a great honey moon spell in charge when they're caretaker and results go their way however, once permenantly put in charge they often do really badly and quickly get the sack. However this season I pleased to say that it dosn't seem to be following the trend as Leicester City's manager Rob Kelly is doing a really good job and they are climbing up the table quickly and Richard Money - wow what a great job he is doing as Walsall manager. Also, ex Everton Assistant Manager under Joe Royle Willie Donachie who's been Assistant Manager at so many clubs, has recently been and currently is caretaker manager of Millwall and has achieved some very good results well apparantly and hopefully he will be given the permenant full time job as Millwall Manager. This will be his first ever job as actual manager of a club so good luck to him.

Alesha - Knockdown
If this flops and misses the top 20 then she'll be dropped. Her debut single did quite poorly and if this one does too then there is no chance of her releasing her album and she'll be dropped - solo career for her over.

New Release Schedule - 30 October 2006
yes I think so although I'm not entirely sure.
