The Forever Excellent Eastenders Thread
I feel that seeing as there is a Coronation Street thread, there should be an Eastenders Thread so here it is. I personally think that Eastenders has much better actors / actresses than Coronation Street, so who do you think is the best actor / actress from the soap? I personally think that the actor who plays Kevin and the actress who plays Jane are two of the best. In my opinion, Jane is very underated. The actresses who play Denise and Chelsea are also very good whilst as much as I can't stand his evil minded character, the actor who plays Owen is superb.

Keisha White - Out Of My Hands
It hasn't sold much at all and missed the top 40 charting at number 55 253 places higher than her debut album. She has got such talent and such a good voice. She really dosn't at the moment get the success she deserves. 'Don't Mistake Me' especially should have done better and at least got top 30.

Innocent Records Finally Drop Duncan James
just before his debut single 'Sooner Or Later' the massive selling number 35 hit was released lol

Just Thought I'd Point Out
kk thats fine. Lol I get it now.

Rachel in LA
lol the way she ignores them is so funny. She ignores them so profesionally.

Just Thought I'd Point Out
Just thought I'd point out that in this forums description it says 'Join The Fanily' instead of family so you may want to change that.

Tunstall goes back to basics for new album
yeah I bought her debut album and although it was good, tbh I think that all the five singles she released from it were by far the best songs on the album and the album only singles were quite weak.

Jamelia Furious With Rival Keisha White
I much prefer Keisha White and think that she's got much more talent than Jamelia and think its a great shame she dosn't get the success and recognition she deserves.

Did Eric Prydz release an album?
I think that he did release a follow up single however I think it failed to get top 200 and charted somewhere in the top 300 so basically it was a mega huge flop. An album though has never been released.

Innocent Records Finally Drop Duncan James
well he did slag them off and in the end he's got what he deserved - a flop solo career. I think that Lee Ryan may have actually been dropped and also unfortunately, Anthony Costa has been dropped after his album charted at 308 with barely anyone actually knowing it was out. In my opinion 'A Beautiful Thing' should have been released to promote the album. I think that it could have got top 20 and charted a bit higher than 'Do You Ever Think Of Me' Simon Webbe is releasing his new single 'Coming Around Again' in November.

Embrace NOT splitting up
I get the impression he wants to go solo judging by his 'theres some stuff I want to do' comment.

Innocent Records Finally Drop Duncan James
Unsurpisingly ex Blue member Duncan James has been dropped by his record label. Most debut singles from ex band members do well however, his debut single 'Sooner Or Later' flopped and charted at number 35. His album then flopped and completely missed the top 40. His label then told him that his next single was make or break for him and that if it didn't get top 20 then he would be dropped so his second single 'Can't Stop A River' recieved a fair bit more promotion than 'Sooner Or Later' however, this also flopped and again missed the top 40 so after spending a few weeks reviewing his situation, Innocent Records has now decided to drop Duncan James. No other label is likely to take him on due to his dismal flop at attempting a successful solo career. He didn't help himself by just before releasing his album, slagging off the rest of Blue and hillariously insisting that he would be the most successful. Lol how wrong his was.

TIPs Chart Single Prediction Game
Woo considering I haven't played for a few weeks I did quite well.

Nylon - Closer
I think its a half decent song but another ballad? They all seem to have good voices but can't Icelandic girl groups do anything apart from ballads? Tbh I think this won't do as well as their #29 hit LAF and I atm can see it struggling to get top 40. I think that it being released so early for an artist so small as them, may work against them and make the single suffer as a result.

Daniel Powter - Daniel Powter (reissue) era
personally DP seems far too talented to be a one hit wonder. His album is superb and yeah unfortunately and undeservedly 'Lie To Me' flopped and the record company made a c**k up with the release of 'Free Loop' and 'Jimmy Gets High' which will be getting released, but I think that once his new album comes out and a new single is released from it, he will hopefully have another big hit.

New Release Schedule - Sept 11
I thought that Skizzo did the 'Singles Schedule' ?

why another x factor series so soon?
Journey Souths album is one of the highest selling albums of the year so its hardly poor sales. Andys album hasn't done badly. The Ciccle / Desperado by JS was chart inelligable and 'The First Time' was released to music channels to promote the album though was never released as a single. 'Hang Up' by Andy did somehow amazingly miss the top 40 which considering the amount of airplay, and videoplay it got, was amazing however I think people chose to buy the album instead of the single. His second single 'Sticky Situatiion' was download only. Chenai is now releasing a single download only and Tabby has now got a record deal and is releasing a fantastic single and Maria Lawson will be releasing her new single 'Give All You Got' in November along with Shayne releasing 'Next To Me' possibly the same week as Maria. Andy, and JS have now both gone on tour and will be releasing new albums next year along with G4 who are releasing their third album in February.

why another x factor series so soon?
yep top 20 which whilst it could be better, isn't bad. Whilst I suppose The X Factor can be criticised for various reasons, it is always consistantly popular and successful without fail and this year yet again a new record for auditioners has been set. Also, the guy who started this thread says besides shane, none of the other acts have been successful well thats not entirely true as Journey South have had a number 1 album one of the biggest sellers of the year, Andy got a number 2 album the same week Journey South got to number 1, and Chico has had a number 1 and after only just scraping top 75 in wednesdays midweeks, his new single 'D.I.S.C.O' is now confortably top 30 due to lots of PA on TV and Radio so considering he is such a novelty act with an awful voice, two singles one a number 1 and another top 30, really isn't that bad. Chenai is also releasing in a few weeks and is signed to a very small record label whilst Brenda is performing in Chicago in The West End so y'know thats six acts from the show with record contracts so they can't have done that badly. Tabby Callaghan who finished third in the first series has now signed a record contract and is releasing in a few months so The X Factor has also helped him.

Album Release Schedule - 7th August 2006
Why not tie this together with The Singles Release Schedule. LifeLight can still do the albums whilst Skizzo still does singles.

New Release Schedule - August 7
I like Lemars new single but as a first single from his third album? In terms of it being the first single released from his third album I really don't think its strong enough to do very well and fear that it may only get low top 20. I sense that Promiscious may flop compared to the success of Maneater and Rudebox will probably end up getting top 10 simply because he is Robbie Williams although it is an absoloutely dreadful song.

New Release Schedule - 17th July 2006
it has been mentioned on several sites. She is signed to a very, very, very small label called DFL Recordings who prior to hearing she is signed to them I had never even heard of them. It is bound to flop. Well hopefully it will anyway. By the way she has her own myspace as has Nicholas from The X Factor.

The Rose Of My Cologne By The Beautiful South wasn't even released that week. It has yet to be released and as things stand at the moment, the official website dosn't even mention a potential release.

The Faders Split
I'm delighted the ugly cows have split / been dropped as they were disgusting to look at and made awful music but for one of them to actually be deluded enough to believe they'll be more successful as a solo artist! And as if re-releasing their debut single as a solo artist is going to do well! Also the name Molly McQueen really isn't very cool. If she manages to get top 200 then she has done well.
