  1. Well, I can identify with this! :arrr: Glad you got some decent tickets Sunday. The thought of doing it all again tomorrow is mind blowing! It has a feel of 2004 theatre tour about it to me but I hope I'm wrong. I do want the tickets to sell well but AFTER we're sorted!! There certainly seems to be a higher level of interest than last July, the number of people who've registered on the OS in the last few days has shocked me, then there are still the emails to go out tonight to the ticket agencies registered members :o Nice to see you back suggy, good timing. :cheer: Your ears weren't deceiving you re: the tour a few weeks ago then?!
  2. Yes, we're building up a picture, isn't it great! :yahoo: :w00t:
  3. :yahoo: This was the big news Heart was talking about! Tickets on sale next Friday! :cheer: :cheer: :w00t:

Thanks, thought as much. Seems a very short lead-in time before 6 July now.
  5. I really hope it is a tour!! :cheer: Thanks Sunday!

I'm the same, cannot believe anyone would think it was commercial for its own sake without a wider purpose. Have had a look further on ebay and there have been 5 copies sold on there, three different sellers, and the first was bought on 1 June, with the other four being bought as Buy It Nows yesterday. I wonder if they've just been sent out from promoters this week??

I suppose time will tell Sunday - maybe a belated annoucement tomorrow? Radio copies have turned up early on ebay for all his singles from LIG.

Yes, I was thinking that too. And just remembered it 'borrows' from the Verve's Bitter Sweet Symphony..

Maybe it's giving a two finger salute to commercialism.. B) I'm very puzzled as it just doesn't fit the dictum of doing the right thing at the right time to me..

Oh, I'd always buy regardless but this is something I just wouldn't have expected. If it's promotionel tool for a significant documentary on depression / relationships etc (as opposed to promoting Will and his musical work) I might understand it, but at the moment I can't see what it will achieve if released. The meaning will be lost on most people anyway and I don't think the melody is that strong.

I just saw this on Devoted ten minutes ago - I would never have dreamt this would be a single. I wanted an upbeat one too..

  13. That 'sold out' note on the Picnics site is so nice to see! :yahoo:
  14. Hiya, not been posting on here for a bit but back now as I must congratulate you on your finds Sunday! :cheer: Thanks Sunday - that'll probably be due to the email Seetickets sent out yesterday advertising a range of shows including the picnic concerts! Gorgeous pic! That's a goodie isn't it?! Must surely be true!

Yes, most of yesterday too chrysalis.. Some people have shown up in the D thread in the Jazz Cafe on the OS.
  16. Thanks BYM&Ms, glad to hear it's done. Model patient I can imagine - bet he was really spoilt by the staff!

Ah, what a gorgeous new kitten BYM&M's!! You're making me very envious. I was offered a kitten last week (other three had got new homes and this one was the last) but managed to say no as the time's not right yet - just as well I didn't see it as it would have come home with me I bet.. B)

Just saw this - TM only seem to be selling 16 promenade tickets BYM&Ms, no VIPs unless I'm missing something. :) Did you see they put some extra VIP tickets on sale so I think everyone will have to budge up

  21. Just looking back over this thread and I see the record of the LIG run in the UK has stopped after no. 72. If you are wanting to update it, I can give details from my record though I have a couple of gaps someone else might be able to fill in: 84 / 116 / ? / ? / 51 / 38 / 29 / 41 / 30 / 60 / 87

I never encouraged it, honest but won't look a gift horse... :w00t: And I guess there will still be scope for more shows for you now when they come up.. ;)

I heard! I've just done some adjustments to the schedule so we can go to both!
  24. rosj posted a post in a topic in 20th Century Retro
Yes, they would be marvellous too suggy! Did you go to both before? I rate Harewood as one of my ultimate favourite shows, and loved the Pops in 2005, the atmosphere was electric.

I agree! My justification - it would have been rude not to book when it's just about en route for the Bestival show?! :naughty:
