  1. 110k definitely, I'm gonna say it'll be at 130k at least by the end of the year (the Sats sell approx. 1k every week with ITIL and they're around no.160). Also, so glad iTunes is now top 300, we'll see the effect of early hype/buzz/promo for Untouchable soon :) Do we think The Promise can surpass 450k?
  2. Sound of the underground (2003) I suppose I'm happy with all, especially Life Got Cold  I hate jump tho <_< but it was a wise move, big hit which I think was an important milestone in their transition from reality tv stars to bonafide singers (I don't know about you, but I rarely think of them as Popstars The Rival contestants!) What will the neighbours say? (2004) Perfect in every way - Wake Me Up is sooo good, even better live (Nic: I think your off your heeeeaaaaaddd  ) Chemistry (2005) I loved Long Hot Summer, Biology and See The Day, bit controversial but I'd have released Watch Me Go rather than Whole Lotta History (I liked it at the time, very Spice Girlsy but I hardly ever play it now, and it's the point on tour I go pee pee or for drinks) Sound Of Girls Aloud (2006) Sorry but Think We're Alone Now shouldn't have been released, and they were especially right not to release Money (I'd have loved Singapore tho, but it wouldn't have been a hit) Tangled up (2007) I'm happy with all three (you can't deny Speak French was a fantastic shock hit I love it but never expected it to sell like it has!) This Era and SKO I think were where GA really became big respected stars (sceptics: even before Chez did X Factor). But Girl Overboard is MEGA MEGA MEGA (should've heard me scream on tour lol my fave's were first!) Out of control (2008) Perfect so far, the first time they've released singles EXACTLY as I would've liked  My mates say they need a traditional GA single (fast) I'm not sure if I agree, the formula of midtempo tracks is working great for them. But saying that I'd love Miss You Bow Wow as a single Whatever my thoughts though - Sound Of Girls Aloud (modified on my iTunes to include other singles) is a FANTASTIC greatest hits that I never ever get bored of and never skip tracks, the girls and every single released are just fantastic. I love GA :yahoo:
  3. Oh the suspense!! Changing it at the last minute makes me wanna know what the 2 songs were now!!! Arrgghhh - gotta be a well known favourite then, I'm thinking Miss You Bow Wow or Untouchable for defo now, they're raved about on all the GA forums, also, Untouchable could be shortened/tweaked and make people buy it whereas Miss You Bow Wow would probably/hopefully remain the same - remix means more sales y'all  C'mon Untouchable pleeeeeaaassseee
  4. oh god, I never post, just linger, but that made me lol :D
  5. I've heard TT are doing a few dates at Man Utd, they're not on sale yet are they? Well, apparently GA will support them, I used to work there and have been asked to work it, I said HELL NO! Haha, dunno of dates etc yet...
  6. I have it on good authority that they are supporting TT...
  7. I've been a huge fan since Bedtime Stories and with each release I've loved Madonna more and more. Hard Candy, however, has appauled me! For a number of reasons: 1. Mdolla - cringeworthy! Least Mimi etc is a nickname, Mdolla is just Madge tryin to be 'cool' 2. Kanye, Pharrell - two artists I hate 3. Lyrically it's disgraceful! She's not me she'll never have my name?!? Maybe it was just me but I thought she had depth before this? 4. Production - The album just doesn't flow, the beats and swirling vocals just make it one big messy headache it's got too much going on if that makes sense? 5. Artwork - oh jesus! She looks like SHRILEY FROM EASTENDERS!!!! Anyone agree? Like an old hooker and the lyrics about sex mixed with the artwork makes me heave 6. Originality (or lack of) - A key element of my love for Madonna was her changing styles and image, I truely felt she was a leader not a follower, but this isn't original at all, she just jumped on the R+B bandwaggon, this has all been done far far better by Nelly Furtado. On a positive note: 1. Her voice at times sounds like Into The Groove era - which I love 2. She seems like she's having fun (even if I'm not) 3. Erm, that's it

But surely all the summer shows etc would be great publicity for a 4th single? Personally I'm worried if it'd go top 10 anyway - they're doing great releasing tracks fairly atypical for them (Call The Shots and French). If they went back to the oumph attitude pop of Girl Overboard and the like I think they'd struggle (even though I prefer that style lol). Black Jacks is perhaps the one I'd be most comfortable with - something about the opening lines just makes me sing at top of my voice ha ha. And I think it's more edgy for them too.
  9. http://www.traffordcentre.co.uk/whatson/ev...fo.aspx?ID=4409 Anyone going? Think I'm gonna camp outside like I did for last few Geri signings :) Can't wait!!!!

01 Migrate - Really liking this - great opener hopefully a single too 10/10 02 Touch My Body - I am still disliking this - worst single ever! Mix good tho 5/10 03 Cruise Control - Full marks just for the Jamaican styleee! Can't see this damaging her credibility as she's working with a Marley - Love the 'No Man' sung in a Cake Bad Girls Style ha ha 10/10 04 I Stay In Love - I LOVE this - Mariah's vocals are so much better when not done 'softly softly' and more raw (if that makes sense?!) 10/10 05 Side Effects - Loads of reviews are highlighting this but at the mo it's completly overshadowed by later tracks 7/10 06 I'm That Chick - Worried this sounds dated but still, a good track and nice to have upbeat less r+b driven tracks 8/10 07 Love Story - I'm actually loving this! Suprised with the mediocre ratings 9/10 08 I'll Be Loving U Long Time - Summer's here! Lovin' the popesque features of this album! One of my faves 10/10 09 Last Kiss - see below 10 Thanx 4 Nothing - At the Mo all these JD tracks are mixed up - gonna have to listen some more 7/10 11 O.O.C. - For some reason I feel a Daydream/Fantasy vibe that I'm totally loving! 8/10 12 For The Record - At first I thought oh no! The advert, but the 'When I look into your eyes' bit comes in it's just outstanding - pleased everyone else feelin' it too! And no-one mentioned the past single references! Honey/Underneath Stars/My All/Can't Let Go/Underneath Stars/We Belong... LOVE IT 10/10 13 Bye Bye - I cried when I first heard this, possibly one of my fave Mariah singles ever! Same topic as Sunflowers, One Sweet Day (and in my eyes - Reflections) just find it so cathartic 10/10 14 I Wish You Well - Just doesn't fit at all, stands out, for all the wrong reasons! 7/10 15 Heat - Will.I.Am track - pretty good but not heard enough yet 7/10 Album: 9/10 This is gonna blow big time! I'd love her to hit no.2 (Kooks look likely to top chart this week) Defo her 2nd best so far (Butterfly top for me) My album of the year methinks - like Rihanna last year - this has shocked me and contains soooo many singles!
  14. Shocked at how low sales are compared to UK. I mean if this is representative of usual sales (not no1/2 obviously) then the UK number one album would be in the top 10 over there every week! Is it just a slump or is this a trend in decline of US album sales does anyone know?
  15. THANKS!!!! :cheer: Absolutely love it, mixture of Believe(Cher)/New Direction(S Club Juniors)/Ace Reject(Sugababes) - and first time in ages I've loved a GA track from first listen! Oh and Nicola's bit is amazing, love where music dies down then boom
  16. 18th Dec C2 Row H, in front of catwalk yyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
  17. OMG that's SO made me laugh     (no offense intended, my boyf is a geordie  )
  18. yeah, I'm confident they'd have had plans to do elsewhere in UK than London - simply because they were biggest here. Manchester's looking good too! If they left it to demand they'd end up with a tour as big as Take That's comeback in the UK, but then TT aren't touring the world :naughty:
  19. www.thespicegirls.com You can now nominate your city to be added to the reunion tour. I know a lot wanted Manchester - and so do I, in fact I'm desperate :P so please please please vote Manchester :yahoo:
  20. Oh god hope not after hearing their new single no less than 10 times I'm not feeling it... GA are dead to me now, too much dissapointment with them this year...
  21. I can see this defo happenin at least in USA...

Thanks :) and yay she's not using the Another Day cover for once :o  :yahoo:
  23. Me neither... GA could do no wrong for me, from the very start they've been my fave girl group and constantly improved with each album. HOWEVER - The tour was a HUGE HUGE HUGE let down for me (compared to Chemistry tour), I also find this dreadful! I just can't get into it yet I've loved all their other singles. I don't think they've progressed one inch. It'll go top 10, but lucky for top 5, it just doesn't shock and stand out in a way Something Kinda Ooh and Biology did - as such I can't see it pulling in any more fans. Sorry GA but the boring tour, boring comeback single and no doubt glamour-puss-fans-on-full-power-so-we-look-sexy boring vid has left me numb. C'mon the Spice Girls - Right Back At Ya just when needed :yahoo:

I get everything of Whiggy's - must say though, gettin sick of these 'hits' & remix albums she churns out, bet it's got megamix on it like all others :arrr: it costs me a fortune
  25. I think were Eternal to reform (they nearly did a few years back) they'd give their right arm to have Louise back! She lasted longer than them and still gets publicity now. I always thought she did the right thing. And money wise she must've made more than individual eternal members (split 3 ways). Louise was THE female artist at her peak, her last unreleased album has got some REALLY REALLY good songs, but she's worried, and so am I; that there's no place for her in todays charts. I doubt we'll hear anything until pop comes back - the fall of Rachel Stevens (Lou's closest rival) and the solo spice's  suggest she'd struggle and I'd hate for Lou to break her amazing run of hits. For clips of album visit official site: http://www.louiseredknappofficial.co.uk/ or look her up as one of my top friends on myspace (link in sig)
