Spears, 24, is already mom to son Sean Preston, 10 months, and is expecting her second child with husband Kevin Federline in October. In an excerpt obtained by USA Today, she admits to Bazaar that, while pregnancy is "empowering," she felt unprepared and "paranoid" the first time. But with "this one, I was like, I've just got to wing it," she continues. "It was weird for me at first because of who I am. Wherever you go, they expect you to look a certain way. I'm not supposed to be this big huge pregnant superstar." She describes Sean Preston as a "rocker kid" and the inspiration for the line of baby clothes she's designing. New York Post reported that after a couple of years and a few price cuts, mom tart Britney Spears is finally unloading her NoHo penthouse apartment. The four-level, 4,400-square-foot pad in the famed Silk Building, which she originally put on the market in July 2004 for just under $6 million, has just gone to contract for $4 million, according to sources familiar with the deal. Spears' eight-room condo at 14 E. Fourth St., which most recently had a $4.5 million asking price, has three bedrooms and 41/2 baths, and features 13-foot ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, a large rooftop terrace and a solarium. She paid $3 million for the place in 2002, after it was listed for $4.85 million just before 9/11. Corcoran Group broker Chris Toland, who brought in the out-of-town buyers, would only say the apartment looked as though it hadn't been occupied for some time. The apartment was previously where Rolling Stone Keith Richards crashed and, after that, Russell Simmons called it his crib. The Silk Building has also been home to Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, and Cher. Adam Modlin of The Modlin Group, perhaps best known as Alex Rodriguez's broker, had the listing but had no comment. According to internet gossip source Gossip Monkey, Rachel has been selected as the desired face to fulfill the lead role in a 'female-based' film following the premise of James Bond. The article begins with a summary of the movie's basis as follows: Remember that spy film “Daisy Scarlett� It was supposed to be some kind of female 007 film – and every young actress in town has been linked to it. Anyway, this dude leaked me the latest on it last week. Apparently it is still happening. Then the article suggests that the lead male role will be given to actor Hugo Speer who appeared in movies such as The Full Monty (1997) and The Interpreter (2005). Continuing on with the supposedly 'true' article, it then dives into the female role, where Rachel Stevens' name is first mentioned. The actresses that they’re looking at for the role of the lead are Rachel Stevens and flexible belle of the ball Jennifer Ellison, (Minnie’s pal) who was caught briefly in Joel’s “Phantom†movie. The 'good news' is that if this rumor is in fact true and does well and is a legitimately decent movie, the article explains that the movie will path off into a spin-off TV series, which would mean a more permanent and longer lasting profession for our star. Currently, release dates for this movie are yet to be officially confirmed, just like the entire rumor; however, the supposed e-mail suggests either a late fall schedule or a winter one.
