  1. It's not just the LD's... Just having a last look at the election leaflets, and I noticed that the Green Party one quoted a Tewkesbury Borough Council result for *one* ward, with them winning on just 34% of the vote, using this to try and justify the claim 'we can win in Tewkesbury' despite getting just 2.7% in the GE last time.
  2. Just noticed how close this is to the last Yougov MRP one...
  3. I wonder if Reddit is less critical of dissenting opinion than Buzzjack?
  4. His opinion of what the Tory party was, would be like telling a kid that santa doesn't exist, at least to MM... :P It's also not something that can be resolved *before* the election.
  5. Perhaps we can all agree that at least *some* pollsters will have egg on their faces... BTW, I can't remember an election where there was so little credence given to the polls. :o
  6. The best poll for Labour just before the 2017 election showed them having a 2% *lead*... Just in case we didn't grasp that the million other times you told us? Not according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opinion_polli...eneral_election
  7. Actually, I *can* see what they are, and what they are doing, but even then, still consider them the lesser of two evils.
  8. Not through want of trying. Don't worry though, your title of biggest Tory abuser is secure. :)
  9. I thing Boris has got some new competition for 'biggest bullsh1tter'. :heehee:
  10. What *possible* motive could the Russians have? But leaving that aside, surely the election should be about who has the policies that appeal to a greater number of people, rather than who the leaders are, or how the campaign is fought?
  11. Sometimes I think you post so much, just to be the most frequent poster.
  12. BTW, what time do you prefer to vote? For me, it is normally as early as possible, but due to the time of year I will wait a little longer, since I don't fancy walking around rush-hour traffic in the dark!
  13. Why am I not surprised that the infamous NHS video may not be what it seems?
  14. You don't have a clue where Chris lives,do you? Clue, it's not in the leafy south!
  15. Such as?
  16. Judging by this thread's poll, Labour views are already more than adequately represented here. Certain members of this forum are always complaining about lack of balance in the media, but I don't notice them complaining about the Labour dominance here...
  17. Yougov election centre https://yougov.co.uk/uk-general-election-2019/
  18. News flash, they do pay taxes. And btw, despite my views, I always post politely (unless attacked), perhaps you could reciprocate?
  19. If you think merely saying 'the end' automatically wins you the argument, you are very much mistaken.
  20. I do not see a contradiction there, as I know there are people who still consider homosexuality a sin (mostly religious types), and clearly *they* would not be bothered by it. That is the *aim*, but no-one whose brain cells can be counted on more than one hand believes it will be a magic cure.
  21. Than it's fortunate that that is not what I was doing. I am not claiming that it is not a homophobic slur, as to do so would be ridiculous - only that I can understand why others would not be so bothered by it. In any case, if everything else in the campaign has not changed people's voting intentions, I severely doubt this alleged comment will.
  22. I notice you didn't dispute my comment about older people being less bothered by its use, though.
  23. Oh, very altruistic, planning to forcibly extract *other peoples* money to finance their unrealistic program...
  24. It is *now*, but IMO older voters are less likely to be bothered by its use.
  25. Whereas Labour are so altruistic?
