  1. If you are referring to me & Chris, we have as much right to express our opinions as anyone else.
  2. Perhaps older Tory voters were raised in an era when attitudes were different, and are therefore less bothered by comments like this?
  3. I got a message of 'This media cannot be played'.
  4. IMO your attitude is unnecessarily pessimistic. Over the last 18 months I have had to make use of the NHS on a regular basis, and have had no significant reason to complain.
  5. OK, I'll give you Skinner, but not the LD's, from the example we had here in Cheltenham.
  6. Obviously it isn't. We're heading down the road towards a ridiculous situation whereby Boris is blamed when someone so much as stubs their toe
  7. But he's not receiving the same level of ire from ordinary voters, or such is my perception...
  8. I don't think the 'shy Tory' factor can be dismissed - given the reaction in most places to Boris's name, would *anyone* want to admit they were going to vote Tory? In the secrecy of the ballot box, however...
  9. Can you name one offhand?
  10. Then perhaps you'll be more careful, and only mention my name iro posts I've directly spoken about - Thank you.
  11. I'm serious - an employer is not going to pay you the same wage for working 32 hours, as they were for 40.
  12. vidcapper posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
That's very confusing - I read it as 'John Lennon'
  13. I have never mentioned the Sun once throughout the campaign.
  14. So, a 20% pay-cut then?
  15. It isn't, per se, but the claim that almost everyone does, does not hold up - otherwise they would not be in government now, and looking the favourites to retain that position on Thursday,
  16. Really - I never noticed.
  17. Do you actually read what you write? You've just advocated a voting system specifically designed to exclude one political party! What is democratic about that?
  18. Then you wouldn't like my probable choice. ;) Only if the definition has changed recently?
  19. Trolling implies posting stuff you don't believe, but unless you're telepathic how can you know that?
  20. I'm surprised no-one has set one up yet. Con 335-345 seats, 42-43% Lab 230-240, 35% LD 15-20, 13% Green 1, 3% SNP 35-45, 3-4% PC 3, 1% Brexit 0, 2.5%
  21. I'm still not sure who I will vote for - all choices are unappealing.
  22. Some of us don't *want* it saved.
  23. True enough, but the important would here is *could*, i.e. we can make decisions on such matters without EU approval.
  24. Why don't you believe them? Is your *only* basis the 2017 result? No poll has suggested anything like as close as 2.4%. The lowest I've seen is 6% There's no snow forecast - according to the Countryfile forecast, it should be windy with normal temperatures.
