  3. A referendum *isn't* democratic? When the LD's stand aside, they don't necessarily switch tactically to Labour - but when Lab step aside, they're more likely to switch to LD. I wouldn't vote LD at gunpoint, tactically or otherwise!
  4. What bothers me is that rap stars are seldom good role models for the young...

  16. All the more reason to have automatic registration!
  17. He's about as likely to lose his seat as Corbyn is!

Yes - offhand I can't think of any country that doesn't have one. Would you rather it defaulted to the PM? :P
  19. You do realise that he's in an ultra-safe Tory seat, right? Even in 1997 they had a 27% majority!
  20. No I did not!
  21. Iain Dale Is Forced To Correct Lib Dem MEP ENTIRELY Over Johnson's Brexit Deal
  22. On a side issue, I fail to understand why Labour under Corbyn aren't very popular in Scotland - after all, *he* can hardly be accused of being a Red Tory!
  23. If/when Ireland is reunited, surely there will no longer be a role for SF anyway?
