No gov't, of whatever colour, should be blamed for some people's poor ability to prioritize. If you don't want your children to go short *don't blow your dole money on cigs/drink/drugs*. Giving such financially incompetent people more money, as Labour aspires to do, will just result in even higher levels of frittering away. Only if you *earn* your money do you learn the value of it.
