  1. 1. Then what's the problem? 2. I guess MM's paranoia is spreading... Excuse me?! I am happy for the press to publish whatever it wants about the campaign, as long as they don't abuse their privileged access to politicians. In return, politicians should learn to be more careful of what they say in public.
  2. It would be more concerning if they were banning them from covering his campaign at all - is that what you claim is happening?
  3. I thought you progressive types were supposed to hate stereotypes?

I'm assuming you are not referring to a voting system here?
  5. At the end of the day, what I think really doesn't matter - what the electorate as a whole thinks of the Tories will be revealed after 12th Dec. You just screwed yourself again! I used the official election results from 2017 to make my calculation - you know, the same ones you use to claim Labour were just 2k away from forming a majority that year... :P
  6. How about we just take your opinion on the Tories as read, to save you repeatedly posting it many times a day.
  7. That doesn't make sense - in 2017 the Tories were only a few short of a majority on a lead of just 2.5% - just a 1% greater swing and they'd have had 19 more seats - giving a majority of 24...
  8. All I am saying is that on this occasion, I consider the Tories the lesser of two evils. If you choose to interpret that as support, then so be it, but I *will not* be voting for the Tories!
  9. 1. I don't think I do that - criticising Corbyn is not the same as praising Tories. 2. After last time, I am certain they won't fall into that trap again,
  10. Intriguing enough comment for me to google it. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2019-50474572 Speaking as someone whose stance is near draconian on crime & punishment, it doesn't bother me as much as it might others.
  11. I agree that they're probably overstating the Tory lead somewhat, but whether that's due to flawed methodology or simply late swing, will be determined on Dec 12th. However, it might be dangerous for Labour to simply *assume* they are wrong again, which is certainly what MM is doing... And, once again, I am not a *Tory* supporter, just an 'anyone but Corbyn' one!
  12. Question for Michael... If you're so convinced that the polls are wrong, what % do you think Lab & Tories are really on? Please try to be objective...
  13. Does anyone know what the TV audience figure was for the debate?
  14. As per the thread title
  15. I didn't watch them, but then again I don't need to, to predict MM's reaction to it. :teresa:
  16. So the Mail never says anything bad about the Tories? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-76...e-comments.html
  17. What - nationisation?
  18. I did a bit of googling, but I cannot find anything which confirms those turnout weightings claimed of Kantar, and there is no source quoted in Dr Sleep's original posting of those figures... One thing I hope we all share is a distrust of unsourced figures?
  19. Using the left's sacred PC against it!
  20. I rather watch a test card than a political debate - the former would certainly be more interesting. :P On *current* polling. BTW, what's the betting that Michael gives polls more credibility, the higher % they give to Labour... :teresa: Vetting tends to be cursory for candidates in seats where a party has no chance of winning.
  21. Presumably not MM, or Corbyn would have came out as 'popular' as Kim Jong-un claims to be in North Korea.
  22. Because some of us aren't as sceptical as you as to their value. ;) I'll be especially interested in the next MORI poll, as that's the one I took part in.
  23. Why should I, when he's one of very few here who is on my side?
