  1. Very droll.
  2. Sorry I missed the earlier rounds. :(
  3. If you want to know Justin's sales, please be specific (see note 1), and I will answer if I can. :)
  4. Just as well I didn't post the Mail version of the story then... :teresa:
  5. Updated to T40
  6. Lie-detector tests planned for convicted terrorists freed on licence https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/j...reed-on-licence Seems a sensible precaution for all prisoners about to be released.

How Question Time became a festival of bile https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/20...rk-laurence-fox [wasn't sure where to post this, but didn't want to start a new thread]
  8. Ever since I can remember people have said 'the NHS is in crisis', yet it is still here... I wish I had a penny for every time you said that. :P The above was expected - the HOL are doing their job, and they far more closely resemble the 'landed-gentry' of a certain someone's rants. ;) However, the Salisbury Convention will ensure it's passage on 2nd Reading. Please don't resort to personal attacks - that's against the forum rules.
  9. Have you finishing venting? Exactly, but he doesn't seem to realize that - and the Tories are much more pragmatic about such things.
  10. It would surely be remiss of them if they didn't, but that doesn't mean they *want* that option.
  11. Don't worry, if you miss it, it'll be on Youtube... :P You can be very amusing sometimes.
  12. You realize that saying 'the end' doesn't mean you've won the argument? Virtually all of us N&P posters agree on electoral reform, though. That's not the the Tories fault though, but of an ineffective GE campaign by all the opposition parties (SNP excepted).
  13. Because not everyone believes that same things you do?
  14. I'm sure Boris will be the first to congratulate her if she wins... :heehee:
  15. I'm not sure what you want here - could you clarify?
  16. I don't know about Russia, but to claim Britain is, just a month after Britain had an election in which *many* parties took part, is just...
  17. I challenge you to name a mainstream website that says that!
  18. I suggest you look up the true meaning of 'one party state' before throwing it around randomly!
  19. True, but the gap is seldom that wide - it'll be interesting to see what happens when Labour chooses their new leader.
  20. New poll today from Opinium, the most accurate poll for the GE result - Tories 17% ahead https://www.opinium.co.uk/wp-content/upload...uary-2020-1.pdf

How are the above any different from what you've claimed of 2019?

    Then why didn't Labour win?
  23. I don't read every thread right through, if that's what you mean.
  24. The Salisbury Convention only allows the Lords to reject the 1st reading of a Bill specifically laid out in a party's manifesto.

That's a good strategy if you want to get elected.
