Sufjan 'The Avalanche' is probably my favourite album of the decade / ever. Arctics debut, Bloc Party's debut, Frightened Rabbit 'The Midnight Organ Fight' and Metic's 'Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?' are also up there.

Griffin will come of a lot better to some people after this tonight. He has done really well.

The thing with sacking him two weeks ago when they'd been on a bad run or whatever is that they would of had to have a rush to find a new manager which would of made things even worse. I think it's pretty clever work from Gibson - he wants the best for his football club and he's probably done it in the best possible way regarding exactly that.

To be honest I don't think even that Aqualini kid alone will bring that much, especially if Torres and Gerrard are out. Can't say I've ever seen him play like but I've heard he's not that much of a game changer, but I guess we'll see. Liverpool need goals though. There's no-one there who's gonna bag 20+ a season if Torres gets injured. Voronin is a shocking player, Kuyt isn't a out and out goalscorer and Babel is useless. And with the greatest respect to N'Gog I don't think he's anywhere near good enough. He's more Sinama-Pongolle then Torres to be honest.
