I thought we could have a thread on these. They're on the Sound of '08 list and therefore could be quite big next year. They've released two EP's so far (both of which are excellent) and could follow in the vein of Noah and the Whale next year.

'Talons' really grew on me. I hated it at first (too rushed, sounded a bit messy) but I love now. 'Intimacy' rate: 07 'Ares' 09 'Mercury' 06 'Halo' 10 'Biko' 08 'Trojan Horse' 08 'Signs' 07 'One Month Off' 09 'Zephyrus' 10 'Talons' 07 'Better Than Heaven' 09 'Ion Square' 06 'Letter To My Son' 08 'Your Visits Are Getting Shorter'

Also, don't know if you have all of these but just came across it now: http://abc-afterglow.blogspot.com/2008/12/...t=1229797920000 Edit, and these as well: http://abc-afterglow.blogspot.com/search?q=libertines

I have a 500gb Hard Drive, only filled up about 33gb so far though. And a 100 Bloc Party songs?! I thought I had them all but I only have 68 (including all albums/b-sides/a few remixes). :o

'This Modern Love' is excellent. Up there with 'Talons', 'Biko' and 'I Still Remember' as my favourite non B-side. 'Storm and Stress' is my favourite b-side from them, the acoustic version especially.

http://www.7digital.com/artists/lily-allen...not-me-its-you/ Album clips on there yeahh.

The album gets better the more listens you give it... they're cetainly better than MGMT anyway...

Johnjo's chart is what the lounge should be like. :o

Edited. It was called '5Rebecca's'.

I know Chris. I MUST BE GOING MAD.

Video. God knows why but I quite like this/them. I'll probably end up hating it but it seems like one of the few "big" indie comebacks I may actually like (after Fratellis, Razorlight, Snow Patrol etc.). New album 'Which B!tch?' is aso released in Feb. :o

I wont be entering this time, just so you know (or even care? lool).

That removes any possibility of debate though?

What is your favourite Bloc Party song/b-side/album Chris? :o

I adore this band so much now. Been listening to them alot lately and recently downloaded all their b-sides and stuff. They have so much great stuff, every era has been excellent and yet so different so far. Lovee.

Song 01. Not bad at all, wouldn't see it doing too well though. Song 02. Seems a bit cheap to me, lots of people on here already know it... Song 03. LOL. The Designer Drugs remix of Mariah. I've had it for a while and I love it, my favourite I would say.

Rivandia are thinking of Stars, Cof Cof and Metric at the moment.

I've sent you both of these songs. :o High points from me either way.

THANK YOU to USR as well! :cheer: Who is that btw?

Thank you to the person who gave Rivandia 12 points - fantastic to see someone really enjoy the song!

I didn't like Red Blooded Women at all, sorry Phil. :o And yes LOL go Bhangra, just in there for comedy value really. I didn't give you points Tyron because if I'm honest I'm bored of the song now, had it for a few months and I've gone right off it lately...

Rivandia will vote. Patience people. :o

Psychic eh. :o It's grown on me after a few more listens but it's still got a way to go to beat the demo version. I don't like the backing as much on the new version, and for me her vocals haven't improved at all...
