Their album is awful. :| Probably the worst album I have ever listened to?

But you don't need to go through Myspace for hours to see something interesting that people might not have heard of. There must be at least one song in your library that is relatively unknown to people on here? You don't need to find something new/exciting to enter, just don't go for something well known by the majority. I'm sure whatever song you go for will attract to at least one person here because of different tastes/opinions on different songs?

Not commented in a whileeee. :o Here's some comments ;; 1: Snow Patrol - Crack The Shutters - Only heard this once, don't think I'll like it though really. 2: The Killers - Human - Loved this but gone of it now since I heard the below-par album. :( 3: The Killers - Spaceman - 'Tis one of the best on the album but I still don't think it's a very good album, all of their others are better imo. 4: Neon Neon - Dream Cars - Love this, great to see you like it too! 5: Kings Of Leon - Use Somebody - Yeah like this as well, not as much as 'Sex on Fire' though. 6: Chromeo - Momma's Boy - Suprised to see you liking this but it is quite great. 7: Kaiser Chiefs - Good Days, Bad Days - Only heard this once, a bit meh. 8: Friendly Fires - Paris - Love this, you got there album? One of my faves of the year, think you'd love it. :o 9: Oasis - I'm Outta Time - Not a fan. 10: The Futureheads - I Wouldn't Be Like This If You Were Here - Alright but not as good as any of their other singles really. Very good Mykul!

Hello all. I was just what people thought about which forum to post the YTD charts are in. Now we have the Chart Histores Forum I was wondering if people would prefer to put all YTD charts in there, or just keep them all in here? Thanks. :D

Ahh right then. My song ;; Rivanda: Architecture in Helsinki 'That Beep'

Didn't I already post in this? I could bloody swear I did.

They did say that? Wonder why, maybe they were just waiting for the right moment to do it again. But yeah they'd probably do Reading/Leeds and a few others next year, especially if the album is a few months before. I was wondering as well earlier (randomly  ) when they'll actually split up. Wonder if they'll last longer then say, 4 albums? I would think Alex would want to go solo at some point...

Did I read the thing wrong? Oh dart @ me if I did.

If I'm right it's mainly James Ford... Anyway, today on NME TV it said that the album may be recorded before Christmas and then out early 2009. And the Arctics will play "every possible festival" next year. :o

This album has nothing on 'Sam's Town' and 'Hot Fuss'. It's so unoriginal and pop. They've changed so much since the last record, there is nothing as 'rocky' as 'When You Were Young' and nothing as slow and melodic as 'Uncle Johnny' on the whole thing. I've majorly gone of 'Human' as well; listening to it next to the likes of 'Sam's Town' and 'Mr. Brightside' and it is nowhere near as good. Shame. Oh and the album isn't anywhere near as good as '808's as well. I would rate them: Kanye West ;; 7.6 The Killers ;; 4.3 Sadness. ): Both of their previous records (and 'Sawdust' as well actually) would be rated over 6/5.5 for me. Thinking about it more it's as if Brandon has tried to write an album that completely dissociates them from their previous sound to seeming appeal to a different type of fan. Which in all fairness he has done pretty, don't see what they will do after they release 'Spaceman' (only 'Losing Touch' which sounds very similar to the other two) would do anywhere near as well I think.

01. Metric - Help, I'm Alive 02. Archtiecture in Helsinki - That Beep 03. P!nk - Sober 04. Razolright - Hostage of Love 05. Kings of Leon - Use Somebody 06. Daedelus - Fair Weather Friends 07. Frankmusik - 3 Little Words 08. Chromeo - Momma's Boy 09. Girls Aloud - The Promise 10. Miami Horror - Bravado EP 11. Neon Neon - Dream Cars 12. Alphabeat - What Is Happening? 13. Coldplay - Prospekts March EP 14. Vampire Weekend - The Kids Don't Stand A Chance (Chromeo Remix) 15. The New Sins - Feelings Have Changed 16. Your Twenties - Caught Wheel 17. Cassette Kids - You Take It 18. We Have Band - Oh! 19. Glasvegas - It's My Own Cheating Heart That Makes Me Cry 20. Ladyhawke - My Delirium

I like the new album but in all fairness it is very, very poor compared to their previous stuff. I am highly dissapointed. I still really like this song though. The album has had (bar NME, who have had it in for them ever since 'Razorlight') has had pretty positive reviews all round however.

Two of my entries in there. :o Love love love Dragonette, best pop album of last year and one of my faves of all time.

Next single, out 15th December I think. :o Opinions?

I like: 1. Ladyhawke - My Delerium (NE) 3. Laura Marling - Night Terror (1) 6. Lykke Li - Little Bit (3) 8. Alesha Dixon - The Boy Does Nothing (8) 9. Lady GaGa -Just Dance (19) 10. Neon Neon - Dream Cars (16) 11. The Killers - Human (5) 12. Britney - Womaniser (11) 13. Last Shadow Puppets - My Mistakes Were Made For You 16. Coldplay - Lost (10) 17. MGMT - The Youth (NE) 19. Razorlight - Wire to Wire (7) 20. Lady GaGa - Poker Face (RE) MGMT breakthrough act of the year? Far from it imo, their album is full of real duff tracks ('Kids' being the worst one, awful awful song...). Much better stuff to come out of 2008!

It's awful. I'm so disappointed in it. :(

COMEONNEONNEON!

5.3 Asobi Seksu - Me & Mary (7”) [Limited] 8.1 Christian Falk feat Robyn – Dream On 3.4 Duffy – Rain On Your Parade 3.8 Howling Bells – Into The Chaos (7”) [Limited] 2.5 James Blunt – Love Love Love 2.6 John Barrowman – What About Us? 7.7 Killers – Human (7”) 4.1 Nickelback – Gotta Be Somebody 7.9 The Smiths – Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now (7”) [Limited] 7.5 The Smiths – What Difference Does It Make (7”) [Limited] 1.3 Craig David – Insomnia [17/11] 6.3 Death Cab For Cutie - No Sunlight [17/11] Single of the week ;; Christian Falk ft. Robyn 'Dream On' Worst single of the week ;; Craig David 'Insomnia' - cheap and nasty 'Forever' rip-off.

'Quicksand' and 'Trouble' are both fantastic - much better then what's on the regular album version.

Eeee I hope that boring puppet that is Leona doesn't get to #01. :( She's awful.

Well, I think it's pretty shocking. A few good tracks ('Womanizer', 'Circus' maybe) but the rest is all pretty poor. The whole thing doesn't flow at all. It's not a patch on 'Blackout' and certainly nothing near as good as the new P!nk and Girls Aloud albums. It could still grow though. :(
