Whomever has mine it was rushed and therefore I wasn't able to do things suck as track names, numbers etc. which many seem to have done. I have 'Over the Valley.' I am listening with an open mind.

This is a really strong record. I've never really liked The Shins before this as well.

The EP is the best thing I've heard all year, easily. All six songs are just one big hook. :wub:

Yeah 'Body Talk' is one of the few albums which has received almost ubiquitous critical praise from both the 'pop' and 'indie' sections of the forum. 'Comeback Kid' is pretty average, there are a few better tracks ('End of the Line' being my favourite) on the new record, which is only really worth a listen if you liked the first album.

01 Museum Day 02 Beyond Any Doubt 03 If This Is Real 04 Octomom Sufjan Stevens has teamed up with two Anticon artists, Son Lux and the rapper Serengeti for a new project called s / s / s. They'll release the four track Beak & Claw EP on March 20 via Anticon. The six-minute track "Museum Day" features Sufjan singing Auto-Tuned lines alongside rap verses from Serengeti. The EP features vocal contributions from Shara Worden of My Brightest Diamond on "If This Is Real", while Doseone from Subtle and Themselves appears on the closer, "Octomom". Sufjan and Serengeti were introduced in 2009, when they worked together on Buck 65's remix of Sufjan's cover of Castanets' "You Are the Blood" for the benefit compilation Dark Was the Night. This is infinitely better than anything on their last record. I've always felt their second album was their best so more like this please.
