What is stifling the charts, is the over abundance of low quality American music, due to the lack of support of British artists on the radio.

People who pay money for an empty mp3 must be eejits, there is no other logical conclusion that can be made.

Don't be ridiculous, its silence.... nothing. Only a complete moron would actually pay money for an empty track, for whatever reason.

I say 150k opening with around 400k for the week.

I can't figure out how Taylor Swift managed to get on the Radio 1 A playlist. Something fishy going on there.

Muse "Uprising" $h!ts on all those songs.

They need to edit it to say biggest of the decade, which it is. Will Young was last decade.

The whole top 5 is looking like a disaster zone.

How is Fireflies #1? I don't get it ! Its not horrendous or anything, it just seems so innocuous.

I thought it was a great article. :naughty:

BOYLES BUBLE BURST

What? You mean, for being Scottish?

The RATM track is terrible, so is the X factor song. I wish people would actually spend their money on FAirytale of New York. At least we would have a xmas song @#1. I'm surprised Alicia Keyes is doing so well, considering its a very dull track that even flopped in her own country.

Susan Boyle sells 81k Elaine Page Live sells 0k *sighs*

Yes! ...and ugh at the whole chart. What is going on in the music world, its like nobodies making good music any more.

Well most $h!tmon Cowell productions drop in March, so.......

This one is on this new fangled digital medium though isn't it. Hard to find any hardware to play the old one on.

You don't really believe that do you?

Ouch @ Nora, but I've not seen any buzz and reviews have not been great.

I love Shakira, but come on.... other people get toasted for not making #1 after X factor.

Shakira- Top30? But she was X factor, she should be #1 ! Flop of epic proportions.

So why didn't it sell this much last week?

I don't think so, MMH was available last week and it was hovering around #5 I think. The only reason its doing well is because of X factor, its flopping in the US. Happy is just an old song, its been out for 9 weeks already, nobody cares anymore. Strange how it's #1 in Germany and Austria though.

I'm despairing at the charts recently. Hopefully all the 12 year old girls will have got their future tea coasters now and Robbie will take the lead by the end of the week.

Can whoever's buying the WAG's song please go and drown yourselves.
