Most people thought it was a sure fire No.1 weeks ago, cos no new about 'Hero' and it was also assumed Leona would be performing on X Factor the weekend before the single came (which hasnt happened, cos she hasnt performed anywhere, lol). Tbh if the 'Hero' song was not around, she would have hit no.1 anyway, but alas No.2 it will be! p.s. Leona is in both top 10's for radion and tv airplay!

I think she will tbh! Live Your Life is the only thing which will stop her, if she doesnt! Both will maintain sales and have really high airplay! Bee might have to wait to her album comes out and her usual Oprah appearance!

It looks to me like the battle for No.1 over the next 2 months will be between T.I/RiRi and Beyonce, cos they both will have high sales and ridiculously high airplay!

Beyonce is slumping back towards the pack, to be expected...as it is a ballad! T.I live your life looks set to go back to no.1 on the HDS after Bee then, cos it's ahead of Britney when combined!

Britney Gad (?) who wrote the track but it was never picked up by any label....it was then that the dealings with this song got 'murky' :naughty: But, it's Beyonce's now and with her promo on the best shows around coming up on all sides of the globe, the song will stay riding high everywhere!

Beyonce sales look like healthy growth, not a big splash and then falling quickly back in to orbit! I think it will prove quite the constant seller, nothing spectacular each week but still high!

Tbh, it's because audience numbers go up when they play this type of music...especially as it's popular club music! But, yes..if they were eliminated from mainstream radio it would make it fairer, but where would draw the line! For example, one of Rihanna songs has a DSTM vibe and the other has a rapper on it, one gets on the list, the other song wouldn't...that wouldn't really work....so this will continue!

I doubt it tbh! Whatever You Like will still be No.1 if he sells 140K+, cos AI is still like 150 million! And Beyonce (also the same with Britney) would need to do like about 250K to stand any chance...and looking at the popularity bars, it dont look likely (tbh I feel like "If Were A Boy" will be a constant seller, not a huge splash, drop song)!

I think Pink is safe tho, it's still like 3 to 2. If the Saturdays keep it up they could sneak the No.2. How funny would it be if Leon was no.4!

Britney will not get to 350K tbh! And, if you pay attention to the chart (as I dont know ya), you will know, that hip hop artists dominate other legal downloading sites. Because last week Pink was ahead of T.I by like 4:5 all week, at some points by even more on iTunes, but when the totals were added, because of these other sites, T.I had sold more. In essence, iTunes isnt the holy grail, of trying to predict US Sales from their popularity bars!

This week is a big one for new releases but not for No.1! It will definitely be Leona! tbh i easily see her shifting 120K in the first week, if not more (how much she sells will shock people, just like Bleeding Love did), none of the others will come close! as much as i love britney..this hype is a bit ridiculous! unless Britney's performance is the week the single comes out, i see Leona hogging the top spot til the xmas songs!

Exactly tescos is not a downloading 'giant' by any stretch of the imagination. All Im saying is that cutting 14p of a download is hardly gonna help...credit crunch or not!

i doubt it makes much difference at all, i doubt many will know and tesco's makes up hardly any of the market! and i doubt 14p will sway people to purchase it, lol!!
