She's Madonna the single
RF4L - I'm not sure what the situation is with charts. Many on-line sales do count for the charts, unless they are from sites that ship from outside the UK. Amazon does count, Amazon Jersey doesn't. However that is only if they are delivered to the UK (I think)- so Amazon (or any other site) won't count for UK charts if bought from USA. It is all VERY confusing.

OK MAGAZINE RICH LIST 2006
No Scotty - the £29m was cash in the bank at the end of March (the date of the financial statements), which was available to fund the tour. Doesn't mean they will, have spent all that £29m on the tour, conversely by March a lot of money will already have been spent (building stages , rehearsals, preparing videos etc...). I don't think it is possible to guess how much profit the tour made. More will be revealed in around a years time when the accounts to March 2007 are filed.

OK MAGAZINE RICH LIST 2006
Not sure whether the OK article would have bothered to try and work out full 2006 earnings, or whether they based it on the accounts filed for 2006 (with a balance sheet date end March, just before the tour started). I don't think we know how much the tour cost. Will maybe get more info on that when the 2007 accounts are filed. I had a look at the 2006 accounts a few weeks ago- If I remember right there was ~£29m cash in the accounts at the end of March (which is what the papers reported as money ready to fund the tour) - and ~£29m 'deferred income' Which surprised me, because with over 3m tickets sold I would have expected closer to £150m in deferred revenue just before the tour started, so maybe this had the prepaid costs offset ? Didn't think about it too hard though, as its a good few years since I worked as an accountant  EMI have a 25% shareholding in the company - which means they get 25% of profits (and own 25% of the assets).

"Rudebox" - THE ALBUM
I've just read Gary Barlow's book (don't ask  it is now in the post to it's rightful owner) It was interesting hearing his description of being signed in America , almost forced to work with various other songwriters, and include other covers on his album. The album then got slated in the UK for being middle of the road , full of covers and aimed at the US market. He spent ages trailing rounds in the states, while Robbie was doing his own thing and building success in the UK/Europe. I can fully understand why Robbie has not put any major effort into breaking the US - it sounds like a soul-destroying enterprise. I wonder whether on a US label he would have been allowed to release an album like Rudebox, being such a change of direction away from the safe sales territory.

That picture is there in the background when other pages load too. I've just been to look, and every video clip I have tried to access brings up a window saying the url can't be found on the server

The Official Site
I can't get in at all. After login, the page has MENU at the top -and now whenever it is at the top it doesn't work, so I can't navigate to anywhere else on the site :( Will have to try changing browser - but having gone anywhere near RW.com, virtual memory is now low warning messages, so the whole computer is going to crawl for a while

Best B-side from "The Greatest Hits" singles
Not so fast Scotty! we all have different views you know ^_^ I like all of these. Difficult to choose actually. I voted for The Postcard, as I loved that as soon as I heard it. Prefer it to Stephen's original too. I had an urge to listen to Please Please last week - so that is close - along with Chemical Devotion and (I Feel It) But I Can't Explain. I have a CD with them all on (and IC Bsides) which I have been listening to in the car all week after the sudden urge to hear Please Please again :)

This will be really hard :( they are all so good.

Rudebox Shorts
Am I missing something here. The competition here was for the best short film to go with The 80's - not the best of the other Rudebox short films  I would be hard pushed to choose between Goodbye To The Normals and Ingham Infiltrates if that was the idea though -_-

I bought an offical calender for 99p in WH Smiths today (not much more than the cost of a text - and I already have it at home with me :P ) . The official site are obviously getting rid of stock too ^_^

Best B-side from "IC" Singles?
Meet The Stars for me. It's one I clicked with as soon as I heard it. Closely followed by Don't Say No, Our Love then Bag Full of Silly.

She's Madonna the single
I like to have a proper physical copy of songs I like -even if I have them on download beforehand. Those downloads just somehow don't feel 'mine'

She's Madonna the single
I'm one of those people who said lack of b-sides would make me think twice about buying all versions of the single. I will definitely buy at least one though -and probably all 3 anyway. It depends on actual tracklisting, as there are conflicting versions. If CD1 just has a radio edit and instrumental, I wont bother - If it has NTTS remix, then I probably will. I love NTTS - though I did 'listen again' to that Pete Tong show, and was not impressed by the remix I heard there ^_^ I do like some remixes, but they can take a fair time to grow on me - I have listened to the Lovelight remix CD a fair bit recently, but would MUCH prefer some different bsides too.
