Robbie Though again the poll is a little premature as I have never heard the Amy Winehouse album (and wonder how many people voting here have). I did see her at a recording of the album chart show though, so at least have some idea of it ;)

Thank e-motion :) There are few DVD releases coming up that I will be interested in. Do you have any idea of sales, or where these music DVDs would fit in the full DVD chart (very low I would imagine).

CDwow have been promoting Rudebox (amongst other chart albums) on the mails they send me, at a good price. I would love to know what the sales figurs are like for these non-UK based on-line sites. If they refuse to let them count for the official chart, a separate chart for them would be fascinating.

Hit40UK are usaully reliable :( it was a half-term week, so sales didn't follow the normal pattern.

Great news on the I-tunes charts :) I remember reading ages ago that the next album would get a 'soft' release in USA- presumably meaning no promo. Is there going to be a physical release, or do the US fans still have to rely on imports ? I suppose releasing it there knowing the overall chart position would be low would just open him up to all the UK critics having a go again :(

It was posted as being Wednesday's update - meaning sales to the end of Tuesday. (If it was todays update, it would be sale to end of Wednesday) I think that's right ;)

Update - at end of Tuesday Rudebox on 75k - next up My Chemical Romance on 47k. The gap is widening

I bought it. Only listened once so far, and overall impression was good. Nothing can ever compare to the original Bat Out Of Hell though.

This is a very odd poll - the 2 albums are just so different. I have them both, and love them both . I will go with Rudebox because it has such fresh different sound to it - and some of those lyrics really make me laugh :)

Doesn't that mediatraffic site use some odd points system. I remember trying to find out what it was once, but never understood it :wacko:

I didn't expect this to achieve th first weeks sales of Intensive Care - we had all waited so long for that release. I am pleased with these first reports :) However I think Rudebox has a chance of a much longer chart run than IC. It will attract new fans over time with its diversity. There are some really great tracks on this album :D

Rudebox has sold over 50k by the end of Monday :dance: Hoping it will do over 200k for the week
