Patricia Gardener Last night was totally fabulous. A great night of entertainment. Beautiful Costumes, an excellent orchestra, sparkling sets and a script which was as funny as XXXX (add your own word there!) Darius was in the kilt for the whole performance. Plenty of sporran swinging during the dance numbers! When "Prince Lorenzo" came on stage the whole place erupted He sang "I just havent met you yet" the Buble song ... then the "clown" Muddles did some patter with him which caused him to sing Non piu from Popstar 2 Operastar which made the audience go nuts again. Further on in the show he sang, "Cant fight the feeling anymore" as a duet with Snow White with her in the forest but he couldnt see her .... nice touch. Later in the show he sang Golddigga with the clowns doing the best sporran wiggling ive ever seen and later on was part of a "Ghostbusters" thing. To finish off he reprised "Cant fight the feeling" When he was down on one knee to ask Snow White to marry him, there were screams of "No Darius, ask me!!!" from the audience!!! The performance was dedicated to Gerard Kelly who died It was a very emotional moment There was a very strict "no pictures or filming" within the theatre so if you are going dont even think about it. You will also need a Glasgow phrasebook because a lot of it is local and very fast!! As we were coming out the Fire Alarm went off and Strathclyde Fire & Rescue turned out!! Top ending to a fab night only surpassed when Sharon, Andrea her mum and Susan McFarlane and I waited at the Stage Door and we met Darius and his mum Avril Highly recommended!!
  2. Hi Paul I would rough a guess that the venue was 85% full. He was very well received the audience was a great mixtures of ages but majority were elderly i would say as this music was there era.
  3. HI everyone what a great evening i thought the show was exceptional, so much nicer to hear Darius singing live and Devil in you was a real treat, i though Colourblind adapted really well to swing was very surprised. Hubby enjoyed the show and the Berlesq dancer i think it reminded him of all those great girls in Chicago. This show has something for everyone i do hope the rest of the tour is a great success, Darius was his usual kind self and made time to meet and greet people afterwards. Was so nice to catch up with you all I have some pcs they are on my FB wal at the moment will post on here when photo bucket up and running again.

Our friends who came with us really enjoyed the show but hated the seating, more leg room on an economy flight and to sit there squashed for 3 hours is a lot im sure some peeps left for that reason and not because they didnt like the show. In fact listening to peeps in the interval that was there only complaint.
