  3. A picture of the crowds at the stadium. Looks like he has the same stage setting as he did in 2003. :cheer: up close and personal, yeah, that is how I like it. Roll on the 13 and 17th http://www.chriscoco.com/graphics/photos/diary/060411stadium.jpg
  4. I do like reading his blogs, I find him so off the wall, so to speak. Bless him, he owned up to making a mistake at the Durban concert and he sounds pretty chuffed about Intensive Care selling 6 million copies. I bet his life has turned around since working with Robbie. I am pleased for him. He shows a certain humanity and sensitivity that I like. I am sure he shows it to Robbie too. A lovely man. :D
  5. thanks Scotty. oh yes, I don't think this was the true set list. I don't think he started with Radio either. But I hope he keeps Radio in. I didn't like Feel when I first heard it on the radio, but my god, when I heard it live, it changed my opinion for ever. All Robbie songs are like that. Seeing them performed 'live' adds a different dimension to them. Infact, I would say they are better live. You have Robbie's unique styling of them and his voice is one of the best in the business. Seeing him live proves that. adore him
  6. the fans that went to the concert said he was awesome and amazing. also mentioned he sang Make Me Pure as the last song (supposedly) then came back on and did LMEY, Strong and Angels. I have had an amazing night listening to Robbie. His voice is amazing - just love the guy :cheer: Mr Entertainment indeed.
  7. Robbie Williams kicks off World Tour As we speak Robbie is taking to the stage at the ABSA stadium in Durban at the start of his world tour Robbie is performing to a crowd of over 52000. He then jets to Cape Town for his show on the 13th April and from there to Pretoria for the concert on the 17th. After South Africa, the tour will continue across Europe with Robbie visiting 14 different countries, on 44 different dates and playing to over 2.6 million fans worldwide. This leg of the tour culminates in the UK - an announcement regarding the change of venue from Wembley will be made towards the end of April. Watch this space. The good news is that additional tickets will be made available to satisfy those disappointed when the original allocation of 360,000 sold out in 2 hours. Robbie’s eighth album ‘Intensive Care’ has now topped the charts in a staggering 18 countries around the world and sold 5.7 Million copies to date. Last year Robbie smashed another Guinness World Record by selling over 1.6 million concert tickets on the first day of sale. Robbie’s over-the-counter first week sales of ‘Intensive Care’ in the UK were almost 20% higher than his previous fastest-selling album release in 2004 – ‘Greatest Hits’. More than 373,000 copies of the album were sold in the UK first week, making it the second fastest selling album of the year and the fourth fastest selling album since records began. At one point ‘Intensive Care’ was selling at the rate of nine copies per second in the UK. ‘Intensive Care’ has dominated the digital charts since its release, sitting at No.1 in the iTunes chart in 14 out of 20 territories. The album peaked at No. 4 position in the US, where the album is only released digitally. Robbie Williams' global solo album sales currently stand in excess of 50 million copies. Robbie has amassed a record 15 Brit Awards, three Ivor Novellos, a Q Magazine Classic Songwriting Award and all manner of worldwide MTV gongs. ‘Live at Knebworth’, the commemorative album recorded over three nights in 2003, holds the title of fastest selling live album in the UK. Robbie Williams has accrued an impressive 24 top ten singles in the UK alone. Seven out of eight of his albums have also reached No. 1. :cheer: OMG keeping everything crossed for him and it hurts like hell. Should be getting the reports from Radio Durban soon. I just want to be there to support him! Great write up isn't it. I think our press should read it. The Sun, The Mirror you are being outdone by South Africa :D
  8. Grandwicky, you will be able to buy tickets for Robbie's concerts in the UK next month. Some more are becoming available. So you will be able to see Robbie and The Ordinary Boys. :cheer: ticket prices are reasonable too.
  9. welcome Grandwicky. Look forward to seeing you around.

Just seeing the stage set up and the picture of Robbie doing a sound check has got me wishing I was in South Africa tonight. I just know I will up very late tonight waiting anxiously for the first reports to come through. Give em a good one Robbie and a picture or Robbie advertising his latest mobile phone announcement, which was released today for the start of his tour. It is HOT as hell! http://www.fans-supreme.de/images/stories/sony03.jpg thanks to fansupreme.
  11. and a picture of part of the stage. From Stephen Duffy's website, thanks mate. http://www.thelilactime.com/photoalbum/albums/2006/stage.jpg Reminds me of Berlin. The idea's of Robbie are amazing from the new logo to his staging. He is most definately a one off.

  15. You know what? being the character I am, I hate injustice, if the press kept getting things wrong about me I would make it my personal mission to put them right. Well, we know Robbie does on occassions. I bet Robbie feels like that for most of the time. perhaps that is his own thoughts with Random Acts of Kindness. " The words that I have repressed are coming out today I guess, It's justice not respect I am after and that just leaves contempt for you all. great song and a very powerful and heartfelt lyric line. I wonder if he had the press in mind when he wrote those lyrics. It certainly applies to them.
