  1. effing typical  nothing cheap with the item i like. £99.99p http://images.play.com/covers/880792m.jpg
  2. Following on from you Tessat, you know what annoys me? that word 'JOIN' Take That. It has got everyone thinking he is going back in the band full time, the people I talk to seem to actually think that Robbie is going back to sing behind Gary Barlow and dance. I mean this has got to be laughable how the British public have worked out what Robbie would do when he 'JOINED' Take That. If he joined TT it would not be him going back full time. I never thought he would be, so why can't some of these idiots see that. The press have actually downsized Robbie solo success and that is what makes me very, very cross. And why when a solo performer who performed to 3.6 million people want to go back full time with Take That, as perceived by many. Ok they sold their concert tickets in the UK and are performing to huge crowds but so would Robbie, and why would he want to start again in mainland Europe with the band anyway. Some venue's Take That are performing to are for 8,400 capacity. Which is the amount of people that Robbie started his career off attracting. Come on British public work it out for yourselves please. I would prefer Robbie to look ahead, not backwards and, maybe he could try the US next. The time could be right. back to Rudebox. Love the album, it gets better and better on every listen. :cheer:
  3. lol Dory, you haven't got a photo of Susie's car have you  adding Team Robster now. It is looking well cool. Sounds like Susie has a Ferrari when we mention Team Robster. getting back on topic, yes, I have renewed my subsciption. :cheer:
  4. great! we have Team Robster's on here too :yahoo:
  5. does this help with anything. Rude Box The album debuted at #2 on the United World Chart selling 378,000 copies in its first week.[1] The album has so far moved 600,000 units in the United Kingdom and almost 3.5 million worldwide. [2] source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudebox_%28album%29
  6. if Robbie goes on stage with TT, it should be as the solo icon he is and that is why I don't see it working. Gary would never run the risk of being upstaged and I think he could be. Robbie's vocals are so much stronger and more powerful now than when he was first in the band and Robbie has developed his rather charismatic solo way of performing. I don't see Robbie and Gary blending at all. and I have a funny feeling that it is only Jason and Mark that would like this to happen, i get a different message coming from Gary and Howard. Certainly the press quotes indicate it that way too me. interesting Geraldine about the songwriting partnership of Williams/Barlow. It would be fab if they did work on something together and I would love to hear the end result. But who would be the lyricist and who would write melody?
  7. thanks for those clips. I love the Paris one. I don't think you will ever see an impromptu artist like Robbie every again. He is a natural at it.
  8. I will crack open a magnum of champers when Robbie's contract is finished. Germany and the rest of Europe certainly had alot of PR for Rudebox. I am afraid the UK didn't and I could never understand why they didn't release the album when he toured the UK. I mean that is one of the basic rules of PR isn't it?
  9. Congratulations to Scotty, Jupiter and Orsis for being No.1 :yahoo: Congratulations for 'She's Madonna' for being No.1 :cheer: Congratulations for Robbie for winning the No.1 accolade in Germany great going everyone. :cheer: :yahoo:
  10. Hello Huilo, nice to see you back. I voted yes to renew, but I have to say I am getting very tired of his fun and games, why do I want to pay to see his Man Olympics  the clip they chose to advertise for it left alot to be desired as far as I am concerned and if the management or whoever, maybe Robbie himself, give off this feeling of "I don't give a toss" which is the feeling I get from them, then they can kiss a very loyal fan goodbye. and if they put the fee up too high, I won't be renewing at all.
  11. LazyLady posted a post in a topic in Eurovision Song Contest
so what happened with the announcement of the winner  was it a fix or something? Didn't Terry Wogan say Cindy had won and then a contridiction to that. I cannot believe they choose 'We are flying the flag' how naff it that. I really like song 3, the rap one and Hawkins and Brown, both these acts looked great and sounded up to the minute of what the UK is about.
  12. I watch the charts and Rudebox has been selling, not in the same way as his other albums, but the sales are there, slow but people are still buying it. It has not sold 4 million yet, but it will. you are very welcome to come and have a vodka and lemonade with me.
  13. you know Tessat you and I are very similar. I happen to think that Robbie sings Oasis and U2 songs the best too. I was gobsmacked when I heard his version at Slane. Robbie has a talent that no one can really equal and I do think that is why he gets rubbished so much, they don't want to accept what they see in front of them. I really do think it is a shame the way the UK and Ireland have gone, it must be very sad for Robbie to see that happen, he adored Ireland. Although I guess it didn't help his popularity when he promised to do another show at Croke Park and he has not come through with that promise. I am still holding onto my ticket. I hope both the UK and Ireland get back on board again.
  14. you know you can go to these newspaper comment sites and you can plug Rudebox and give the genuine story in the hope that loads of people read it and the paper does too. I do it quite alot, well I would. I am Jackie from Bournemout lol
  15. soon will be 4 million :cheer: I told Victoria Newton of the Sun that in one of her discussion threads on the Sun website.
  16. he looks absolutely shaggable :yahoo: there are so many attractive qualities with Robbie I even like the way his top lip ever so slightly goes up on one side. I notice everything and I mean everything :P
  17. Monsoon, Tripping did very, very well in the UK. It was one of his biggest sellers of his new material. It also went on to be nominated at Ivor Novello Awards for best international single too. It is shocking what the press are doing to Robbie's career they did trash him when IC stayed no.1 for a week, but they forgot to mention it sold 375,00 copies in the first week. The press will not ruin Robbie's career, they are helping to do it, but Robbie himself will ruin it. Whoever thought up the release date of She's Madonna a week after TT need their head examining. Why are they making it worse for him and better for the press. A load of logheads I think sit at the EMI thinking desk. If you want my honest truth, the next big seller would be an album with Guy Chambers. Although that is probably not in Robbie's mind at all. So really it is upto Robbie if he wants to stay popular. It is very apparent on the radio stations that they do not like his new stuff and always play his Williams/Chambers hits. The radio will only then give him the quality time he used to have. and it would not surprise me to find out the press, radio and insiders went deliberatly out to 'get' Robbie over the GC split to prove a point, when they saw an opportunity. Suse, TT are out in Australia, enjoy them, they are good. But Robbie is still the one that made it out of all of them and that must stand for something, as a foursome they put on a good show. As a solo star Robbie is the man!
  18. where is the Mexican backstage then? everytime I click on the Mexico concert in Tour Archives, I get a blank blue or is it green  screen. Am I looking in the wrong place?
  19. It hasn't fallen in Germany, it has risen. It is No.19. I think.
  20. I hate to throw the spanner in the works with the Tesco site. But if you click on their choice options it says Tesco Jersey. Books CDs DVDs DVD Rental Games Music Downloads Tesco Jersey http://www.tesco.com/books/ So if you download from a Jersey distributor I think it does not count towards the UK charts. I might be wrong, if I am apologiese, I am just making you aware.
  21. She's Madonna, Robbie Williams with The Pet Shop Boys. downloaded She's Madonna Dark Horse remix. It is great!
  22. Jupiter, your comment made me laugh, there was a great comment made in the Sunday paper last week as well, I presume you are thinking of the two tees. Ally Ross on TV Friday March 2nd AT THE RINK OF DESPAIR Robbie Williams. Stay exactly where you are, please. Rehab looks the much better bet. Especially if the alternative is writhing around with Torvill & Dean, in what looks like a 1990's Manchester festish club. Yes, It's Take That, folks. Back where their careers have been for the last ten years. On ice at the Pink Rink. ITV continueing to offer quality entertainment, for permanently housebound, sexually confused viewers, with Gary, Mark, Harold and Albert. it is the first time I have laughed at his column. :D
  23. Robbie's She's Madonna is doing very well in Europe, it is also No2. on airplay on Euro airplay chart too. It is only the UK that has a downer on him. But 'She's Madonna' is a far better single than most will give it credit for. It far beat 'Shine' musically.
  24. I really enjoyed reading what she said about rehab, she gave such a sincere interview that at times I almost felt happy that Robbie is where he is and I can imagine Robbie doing what she said. I like Tara. But not for him. They are too similar.
  25. thanks thisispop. geez, that article was a mish mash of rehashed stories and what year are they talking about? The first part of the article is from his first rehab time and he is in rehab today for prescription drugs, not drink. A very different situation. Trust the press to write an inaccurate article.
