  1. Good to see Canada in the list too. iTunes chart 26/10/06. UK #2 Holland #1 Sweden #1 Switzerland #1 Portugal #2 Austria #1 Norway #4 Luxembourg #1 Italy #3 Ireland #5 Greece #1 France #1 Finland #1 Spain #3 Germany #1 Denmark #1 Canada #14 Belgium #1 Australia #2 USA #16 thanks to purerobbie for the listing.
  2. I think it is fab news. Surprisingly he does have quite a large fan base. Keeping fingers crossed it goes higher.
  3. Reports coming in are that Rudebox is No.16 on US iTunes. :cheer: Lets hope it continues, could Rudebox be the album for America?
  4. stuggling to get into the top 10 Scotty. I cannot believe this track is not in the top 3.
  5. I am afraid this is a copy and paste job but after listening to the CD again today my views still have not changed, so really I am not cheating. My review on Rudebox. So here it goes. :D http://i9.tinypic.com/2ly32b6.jpg Track 1. Rudebox. I love it. The chorus is fab, perhaps the lyrics abit corny, even so it is a good track with unique lyrics and a first rap to be amusing. Did not deserve the rubbishing IMO. Track 2. Viva Life on Mars. I was shocked when I first heard it on the listening feature. I was not expecting a country sounding track. It is a grower and has a great vibe throughout the track. Robbie's vocals are good. I like it. Track 3. Lovelight. Love it, one of the best covers on the album. Pure class! Track 4. Bongo Bong - Je ne T'aime Plus Liked this one instantly. I love it now. It is fun it has a euro pop feel about it and I adore the sax instrumental too. Very funky. Track 5. She's Madonna Brilliantly Robbie. I really like this track, the melody is infectious it is easy on the ear and I love some of the lyrics. A good track perhaps would have preferred it further down the listing, perhaps in between Keep on and Good Doctor. Track 6. Keep On. I think this track is 'wicked' in a good way. I love the slow verse moving into pure madness. Great beat, great vocals and you sense that Robbie loved recording this one. Head banging stuff. Track 7. Good Doctor. Well, I called this a 'pile of pills' Not anymore! I love it, It is a fun track which did not come across on the rw.com listening feature. The lyrics are funny and really are Robbie which I love. The chorus is pretty cool. I found myself laughing at this one. Say no more about Boots. That rounds it off nicely. Track 8. The Actor. Love it. The beat and the 'rolling' rhythm the deep vocals of Robbie are fab. I really like the names of all the actors being mentioned too. This one is ace. Track 9. Never Touch That Switch Not keen on this one at the moment. I am afraid the synthesizer plays on my nerves abit. I am not really sure what the song is trying to say, perhaps I should read the lyrics. I am sure I will get it if I listen to it abit more. Track 10. Louise. Love it. Very melancholy and placed in a good spot on the album, especially after Never Touch that Switch. You just need to hear Robbie sing and you do. It is plain, simple and very effective. Love his calming deep voice. Track 11. We're The Pet Shop Boys. I felt this track was too repetitive, it still is, but I love listening to the overlay of Robbie's vocals at the end where they keep repeating the lines. It does reflect away from it abit more, even so, it is an atmospheric track, the backing is good and hum, very Pet Shop Boys. Track 12. Burslem Normals. This one does not grab me at all. It has a nice melody but to me it is just a filler for the album and if that is the case I don't think it needed to be on the album. It goes nowhere and does nothing for me. Track 13. Kiss Me. I know he is tipping his hat to Stephen Duffy. But I just cannot stand this song. It is not Robbie, far too bland for him, not enough depth in the lyrics. Far too, what can I say, would it be '15 year old pop'? Track 14. The 80's. Love it Love it Love it. The album has got back on track again. This is brilliant. The melody, the beat, the rhythm is fantastic. The lyrics are amazing and are worked very well into the musical arrangement. It is very, very clever. A great track, funny, amusing, witty and a great vibe. A winner in my book. Track 15. The 90's. It works well with the 80's and the contrast between the two is breathtaking. This one is sad, to where the 80's is amusing. The 90's is a very cleverly worked out track. the musical arrangement is excellent and I love the 'overlay' again of Robbie's vocals. I like it, although it is not as strong as the 80's. They work well together and makes a very touching trilogy. Track 16. Summertime. Robbie has reached into his 'store cupboard' which is great. I have always liked this song. I prefer this one to the original. Robbie's 'cry' yes, he has that 'cry' in his vocals on this track and sends shivers down my spine just as Robbie says at the end. Great vocals, love the arrangement. Love the sound and I particularly liked the electronically enhanced vocals in the middle of the track. Track 17. Dickhead Well, what can I say. I am glad this is a 'hidden' track. :arrr:  :o B) :P :yahoo: :cheer: I love it, laughed my head off at the way Robbie delivers some of the lyrics. Excellent! I have always loved Robbie and the way he express himself. This track does exactly that. I find the musical arrangement dramatic, almost like a film score. What a shame the lyrics have put this one as 'hidden' Summery. Rudebox is a fabulous album. I never thought I would say it. The more you listen to it the better it becomes. I am afraid for me the listening feature on rw.com did not do these songs any justice at all. There are many surprises when you hear it on a CD. Great orchestral work, arrangements, different mixes and tweaking with sounds, the beats and rhythms are fabulous and I swear each time I listen to a certain track I hear something different again. All this with Robbie putting in great vocals. I feel it is very much a dedicated 'Robbie fan' sort of album which I find a shame. More than just fans should listen to it. He has an amazing talent for everything. I am lucky to be able to say I am one of those fans. I would not want to miss out on this one. Rudebox deserves to be a hit worldwide. Lets hope that they all trust Robbie on this one. He pulls it off big time. It is challenging, different, diverse and addictive. I give it 6 :spin: out of 5 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y279/tc73/Smilies/icon_thumbs_up.gif Proud of you Robbie! thanks to Buzzjacks Robbie forum for the back sleeve of the album picture.
  6. well, that is 9 out of 16 Slick that you like. You are on your way, hopefully you will add a few more after a few more listens.
  7. Latin VMAsbroadcast tonight Miami Herald. 219/10/06 After three years in Latin America's northernmost exurb, also known as South Beach, the MTV LatinoAmerica Video Music Awards are finally going to throw down in Latin America, and the show sounds kicking. Tonight's live 10 p.m. broadcast from Mexico City's El Palacio de los Deportes (also at 10 p.m. on MTV2 and MTV Tr3s in the U.S.) will be co-hosted by the fabulously irreverent rap-rock band Molotov, and features Shakira, Robbie Williams, Daddy Yankee, Calle 13, Nelly Furtado, Julieta Venegas, Maná and a host of other pop and rock acts. Actors Diego Luna and Johnny Knoxville are only the best known of the presenters. Last year, what was supposed to be the show's Mexican debut at the resort town of Playa del Carmen got blown out by Hurricane Wilma.
  8. and just WHAT are Boy George's redeeming qualities  Instead of slagging off others he should take a serious look at himself. Does he think he is being clever talking about his sicko life. Get a reality check George you sad git.
  9. You forgot this link Scotty. http://www.telefe.com.ar/ I am not sure how lucky we will be - but we have to try don't we.
  10. I am laughing to myself. Is it only me that thought Robbie had grown his hair into curly shoulder length hair in a couple of those photos  this one is a nice one. A Rankin picture taken in 2004 http://www.robbiewilliamslive.com/pics/06rankin11.jpg thanks to robbiewilliamslive for this one.
  11. The popular British singer Robbie Williams sang and enchanted today to near 55,000 followers, the majority women, who corearon and danced practically the two hours that its spectacle in the Chilean capital lasted http://megagalerias.terra.cl/megagalerias/mg16427101006/mg18182101006/Robbie%20Williams%20008.jpg http://megagalerias.terra.cl/megagalerias/mg16427101006/mg18182101006/Robbie%20Williams%20006.jpg WATCH TWO CLIPS HERE 1ST clip Robbie arrives. 2nd clip The concert warning! 1st clip. A press and fan chase. thanks to various sites. therobbiewilliamssite, RWAP & Purerobbie
  12. I voted top 5. I have no faith in the British single charts.
  13. it holds 50,000. There are some tickets still available. Although hopefully they will be snapped up once the Robbie buzz kicks in. Good luck Robbie we are with you all the way, even though we are thousands of miles apart.
  14. I want one of those ballads. Quite right too, we do not need another cover. They are some brilliant tracks that Robbie has written himself. I really hope it is not this track being released as a single.
  15. It appears that the lady who thought she was going to be Robbie's love in Santiago is sadly mistaken. She is not invited. First it sent instruction by mail and later it ordered to a rubber that left the situation clear Manager de Robbie ordered: Amalia cannot enter the hotel... Locólogo of the artist also has to do in this determination to restrict the step to him. The Che, says the mail, "does not have authorization nor privilege some" to join itself with the Briton. Cristián Méndez While they arrived the musicians of Robbie Williams we listened to a very interesting conversation. Yesterday, in the airport of Chago, one of the assistants of manager of the British artist transmitted an instruction that had exactly to be obeyed as much by the people of the local producer that organizes the concert, like by the ones in charge of security: Neither Amalia Granata, nor another person who is not in a list of not more than 10 people, will have access to the singer. It is more, finding out por.aquí.y.por.allá we found out that Friday just last the office of autodenomiando "small bad of the pop one" both sent a mail to Creole hotels in which is programmed that remains the ex- Take That with the people list who has free access to the hotel and, in addition, making clear that "Miss Amalia Granata does not have authorization nor privilege some". WHAT WAVE the decision has its base, according to the inquiries of the pop newspaper, in the fact that the trasandina has removed party with this friendship and that has said that it has the possibility of an exclusive interview. But the drop that exceeded the glass was the recent visit that accompanied by British journalists did to the cabañita that the interpreter has in Gringolandia. In addition, although it sounds stranger, also it has to do in this determination the locólogo that takes care of Robbie by his depre. In his treatment it has established that "does not have to instrumentalizar its affection". Now it is necessary to leave very clear that chicuelo does what wants and that, in one of those, the instinct rises and commands to him to the club the instructions of his manager.
  16. you should copy that and send it to the Press Complaints Commission. It will get those journalist 'itting' themselves. Honestly, something should be done about it in this country. Just give me the link for Digital Spy and I will post up the same thing in reverse. 'My name is  and I am a journalist at the Sunday Mirror newspaper. If anyone has any stores that would be of interested, especially any stories about Editors and journalists, please ring me on  :arrr:  :puke: We can pay for any stories given. Thanks  They should be ashamed of themselves and I bet someone will respond to it :arrr: .
  17. well, that is an improvement, at least the 3am bitches are saying panned and not flopped. My things are looking up.
  18. whoops, sorry interupted the flow here. Regarding Rudebox first week sales. I hope it does do well for him. I have listened to 5 tracks and they are great! I know I am a fan and you will think I am bound to say that, not necessarly true. I don't always like everything he does. I hope people will trust him when he said 'I have a new album coming out, trust me on this one' I honestly do and I am really excited about this. There are some amazing tracks. But like you say Rudebox was not a good start for his fans that don't like change. Hopefully as they listen to tracks on a listening feature they will love this different direction, for one album only. Rudebox is shaping up to be an excellent album so far. I am hoping for a No.1 as long as it makes that postition I would be happy with whatever amount it sales. Would be nice to make big first week sales of the type you are all mentioning. It give me hope when I read your comments. BTW Rudebox is not a flop. No.4 in the UK, ok not mega sales, but still a top 5 hit that the music industry acknowledge as a 'hit' and No.1 in several countries around the world, what are the press on about
  19. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT  :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: one of his best.
  20. and to me. Just LUVVVVVVVVVV HIS LOOK  and the impact the picture creates. :yahoo:
  21. I am just happy that the track is still on the album. :cheer: guess we always knew something had to happen, either the track removed or edited, I am more than happy that the case has been resolved and they have gone for the least drastic option. Just read the lyrics, are they really those. Sarcastic Robbie Yeah! he will get his word in somehow.
  22. it was great wasn't it :cheer: even brighter
  23. Yeap, it should be interesting, they will be talking about Robbie, hopefully not for long. Gary Barlow: Robbie beat me to the top Gary Barlow has revealed that losing his confidence at the start of his solo career put an end to his musical efforts following the break-up of Take That. Although Gary was the lead singer of the once massively-successful boy band, it was bandmate Robbie Williams whose career rocketed after the split. "With me and Rob it became a competition," he told Jonathan Ross in a show to be aired tonight. "I lost my confidence and ended up losing my own career." Earlier this year Take That reformed for a nation tour, sparking speculation that Robbie would be joining them. And it appears that it was not just the fans who were desperate for Robbie to team up with them, as Gary admitted: "We were convinced he was going to come on, but it never happened. I think he feels something one day - and the next day, the world's changed. It would be great [to perform with him again], for one night only." On rumours that Gary and his now three Take That members are contemplating releasing a new single, he added: "We never even thought we would do a new record. We're taking each day as it comes. We really enjoyed the tour, and we're really enjoying writing and recording together."
  24. I am not sure if you know, sometimes I get well behind on news. Kiss Me is now available on iTunes UK. it could have been there for a while. I just clicked on the pre-order album and found it. Happy downloading :D . oh yes, Lovelight is still the NO.1 video :cheer: have to agree though, I am simply bowled over with The Actor. Wish I could download that one tonight.
