Lately it seemed to really click with me and is a perfect song to reflect ‘Steps in the here and now without losing their signature sound’. It’s uplifting and camp, what more do we need? At #12 we see Stomp reaching a new peak. This discolicious track grew on me as well. With the silly video it gives me all the good vibes I need. Your thoughts?

I agree. Though Takes me gets a lot of slack they either should’ve focussed on the 80’s vibe for the whole album or release Living of you ask me. The countdown will continue later today (or week).

The biggest change is ‘In it for love’ returning. So far it got to #25 in 2023. This year the song returns with a bang, straight inside the top 20. Why? It’s a bit ‘It’s the way’ and upbeat track that is typical Steps. Especially with Claire belting out those gorgeous notes. This could’ve been an album track on Buzz if you ask me. Your thoughts?

For me: • A physical release, especially with Scared. • Neon as the second single and Story/No more tears as third. • Some promo in Australia/Belgium. A topic about the re-release will come seperated.

25.(23) Lately 24.(RE) Buzz 23.(15) Wasted Tears 22.(—) Turn around 21.(22) Human touch In this part of the countdown the most important entry comes from the Lee centred ‘Turn around’. I think he’s underrated as a member of the group and I enjoy his vocals more then H. I actually don’t know why I didn’t chart this one before? It’s a typical dramatic Steps song with Lee’s lovely vocals. Your thoughts?
