Claire Richards - Euphoria Listening Party!
I don’t mind a cover album. Her choices are random imo and she doesn’t add anything new to it sadly :(

Claire Richards - Euphoria Listening Party!
Agreed. Such a shame as I would be more positive about this album.

True. And her streaming is almost non-existent so it all depends on the physical sales

Claire Richards - Euphoria Listening Party!
Shame as I do enjoy her. 4. So emotional I love this one! In the Whitney version. Some things you don’t touch if you ask me. Not a good rendition of this classic song. Claire remains the voice of Steps for me but her belting seems out of place so a 2/10 sadly… 5. I surrender Another one that sounds like a cheap version..Claire doesn’t add anything to this song and the production sounds like a cheap karaoke song. Not that bad as the previous one so I’ll score it a 4/10. And please, I’m not trying to diss Claire. I’m happy that she’s doing her own thing and has another top 10 solo album under her belt. I think she’s just capable of so much more so that’s my biggest frustration. Yes, MY frustration

Same! This either totally misses the top 200 or could surprise us. Looking forward to the first set of midweeks.

Claire Richards - Euphoria Listening Party!
2. Song for the lonely The production of this track sounds like a Steps b-side around ‘98 or a #29 entry for ESC ‘05. I’m not trying to shade this album but it’s just that I personally don’t enjoy the majority of it. Sorry not sorry! The original version is much better so I give this track a 4/10 for now. 3. No more tears (enough is enough) This is giving me cruiseschip vibes..too much ad lips as well. I love me some Delta but she doesn’t add something to this version of the song. Also, the overal choices for the songs seem pretty random to me? This one is a perfect example for me. On the positive, it’s very Claire. Still..my rating for this one is a 3/10..

That’s actually my main problem with this album in general :(

Lisa Scott-Lee - 'Never or Now' (Unleashed Deluxe Edition)
Oh, I’m surprised by that (in a good way). Somehow I hope it reaches the chart coming Friday, if only at #100.

Claire Richards - Euphoria Listening Party!
I’m going to comment throughout the week when I have some time left. 1. Euphoria To me it seems like they didn’t change a thing about the song, only the fact that Claire sings the song. And that’s the biggest issue for me..it doesn’t has a ‘Claire’ stamp. It’s not the worst song on the album so for now it’s a 5/10 for me.

Definitely and really cemented them as a group! I’m glad it was a nice hit outside the UK as well. And very interesting! I was surprised by that.

#3 Tragedy (8.30) • Director: David Amphlett • Location: All Saints' church (London) • Released: November 1998 • YouTube views: 17.041.000 Just missing out on a top 2 spot is their iconic video for Tragedy. The song AND video that made them pop legends! Interesting enough it’s their lowest costing video at the time. As the director explained: ‘The lowest cost I think was Tragedy because that was kind of a last-minute deal’. ‘Tragedy was £35,000 and pretty much all of it was shot in one day’. ‘It’s The Way You Make Me Feel was the biggest I did and I’m going to take a stab and say it was £130,000’. ‘The others would have fallen somewhere in between, mostly at the lower end. Most would have been in the £50,000 to £80,000 kind of zone’. Other then that it’s their second most viewed video on YouTube. What can I say other then iconic! if only for the dance routine and the great memories I have seeing this video. Tragedy received votes between a 7 and 10 ending with a respectable 8.30 as it’s average score.
