True! The nostalgia Steps vibe around that time really helped them I think and the succes was a bridge to new material.

First we have Better back inside the top 10. I didn’t play it a lot for some time and now I’m back loving it. Especially Faye her part! Paradise climbs to a new peak of #9. I love what it brought them. Not what it brought us as a fan. I did enjoy having the DVD version because I could finally play all of their videos.

I went to see the show in Amsterdam yesterday. + Their vocals (some moments were glorious) + The mix of old and new songs + Their styling (the girls looked great) + Jungle live (I was the only one singing along and got some looks for it) - A storyline would’ve been nice - A little bit more variety with the staging (yes, they do vocals but a little more then changing lights would’ve been nice) A very solid 8.5/10!

I think so? It has an interesting run btw, going 2-6-8-12 this far. I got a little bored with it but it also has a chance to climb back to my top 5 next year(s).

Especially Victorious which is back at #13. Such a campy Steps song and I really enjoy Claire her vocals. And Just like missing out on a top 10 placing (again). Thoughts?

I prefer the international version as well. Though I don’t mind the UK version. I mean, Steps covers were always a bit tacky if you ask me.

And also not a lot of movement besides Neon Blue that drops out of my top 10. Why? Because I overplayed this one..I am sure it will climb next year though as I do have a soft spot for this song. I do think they could’ve had another placing if the chart remained a top 200. Especially The slightest!

Their debut wasn’t a favorite for a long time. Didn’t hate it but a 6.5/10-ish. For some reason it grew on me and it did get things started. Living in a lie had to chart and I’m happy to see the love for it ❤️ Especially the strings make it typical Steps for me.
