  1. I think that would happen and I would love every minute of it  With a song similar to this: I wonder what kind of song Lee would do?
  2. and guilty as well ;) Paradise Lost
  3. I’m curious what the exact current sales are and how far gold status is for this one. Top 5 coming soon!
  4. Was there a specific reason?
  5. I think Lisa would be all over the place but I’m afraid it’s something I would love to see ;) Claire would definitely be ok, maybe a nice 80’s inspired ballad. I love Faye but I don’t know what kind of act would work for her and if she could do enough on a stage like that?
  6. Our Steps album top 12 (this far) 12. Light up the world 11. The last dance 10. Tears on the dancefloor: Crying at the disco 09. The ultimate collection 08. The Platinum collection 07. Steptacular 06. What the future holds 05. ? 04. ? 03. ? 02. ? 01. ? Any top 5 predictions?
  7. #6 What the future holds This was actually a tie with Steptacular but What the future holds got less votes in the previous rounds so it ends up at #6. This is Steps sixth studio album and was their first to be released with their new record label BMG on 27 November 2020. They had originally intended to release the project in the Spring, however the global outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and imposing of lockdown resulted in a temporary delay of promotion. What the Future Holds debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart on December 4, 2020, with first-week sales of 37.394 copies sold. Sadly it was another studio album missing the top spot. This time they lost the battle to Gary Barlow with a difference of 9.000 in the end. Current sales stand at 83.000 getting Steps another certified album. On a global scale the album hit the charts in Scotland (#2), Australia (#26), Ireland (#26) and Belgium Flanders (#59). Yes, I’m happy we got more Steps material after their 2017 comeback. This is a very solid album and I adore the first two singles. Something in your Eyes is in my opinion their best single from their new material. Your thoughts?
  8. I don’t know if a solo Stepper would succeed. I would love an entry by miss Scott-Lee though but I think Claire would have the best shot and grab a top 20 placing.
  9. Your thoughts?

  15. I’m not sure how she would do at ESC though?
  16. #7 Steptacular Movin’ on with this countdown we have Steps sophomore album ‘Steptacular’. Released in the United Kingdom on 25 October 1999, it was accompanied by five singles. Those singles all hit the UK top 5, making Steptacular the first Steps album to contain six consecutive UK top-five hits (as it also includes their first #1 hit ‘Tragedy’). This album became their first (and only) studio album that reached the top spot. Selling 260.000 in just 3 weeks they definitely took over the UK. Like the group's debut, this album also contains covers, including a song originally released by Bananarama entitled ‘Movin' On’, ‘Make It Easy on Me’ originally recorded by Sybil and ‘Deeper Shade of Blue’ originally recorded by Tina Cousins and ofcourse the group's version of ‘Tragedy’. Fun fact, the song was originally just recorded for the Bee Gees tribute album. Steptacular recently got vinyl treatment for the first time ever in February 2024 and debuted at number 5 on the UK Vinyl Albums Chart. Current sales stand at almost 1.3 million copies since it’s original release. Internationally Steptacular reached the charts in Scotland (#1), Belgium Flanders (#2), Ireland (#11), Australia (#25), Japan (#25) and the Netherlands (#46). This was a step down compared to what their debut album did on a global scale. Personally this is my least favorite studio album. Ofcourse it has glorious singles like ‘Love’s got a hold on my heart’. On the other hand.. some of the album tracks are a bit boring and the album on a whole sounds a bit dated. Still, it brought them a lot of succes in the UK and cemented them as one of the biggest pop acts back then so I’m not that mad about this release. Your thoughts?
  17. Just like the first time

  20. Agreed! #7 coming soon, any guesses?
  21. Hope you can attent! What made the cast that perfect?
  22. Would be nice but I think there’s too much of a risk? She has her niche audience so why bother?
