05 Bananarama - Last Thing On My Mind A bit boring comparing it to Steps version. It’s missing a certain ‘umph’ for me. Steps took it to another level and is a 9.5/10 for me. 07 Bee Gees - Tragedy I don’t mind both versions. Not a fan of the high voices in the original though. That’s why I rank Steps version a bit higher, around 8/10 for now. 03 Elaine Paige & Barbara Dickson - I Know Him So Well Not a fan, sorry not sorry.. 09 Kylie Minogue - Better The Devil You Know This song embodies everything I love about Kylie. Fun, cheese and upbeat ❤️ Steps didn’t put their own stamp on it and the production feels a bit dated so around a 6.5 for me. 08 Diana Ross - Chain Reaction Both versions are not bad but also lack something for me personally. I enjoy the original more though, the cover is around a 7.5/10. 7.5 Benny Andersson Band - Story Of A Heart Sounds a bit dated but I enjoy this version a bit more. I don’t mind the Steps one, I expected a bit more so a 6.5/10. 06 Delta Goodrem - Dancing With A Broken Heart A bit dated and clunky. The same for the Steps version. 07 Jenny Silver - Something In Your Eyes Not bad, Steps just made it their own and is a lot better in my opinion (10/10). 07 Five Star - The Slightest Touch The production sounds a bit dated. Steps didn’t do too much, but their version is a bit fresher. So a 8.5/10 to me. 5.5 VINCINT - Hard 2 Forget Both versions are a ‘mwah’.. BONUS: 6.5 Worlds Apart - Here and Now Not bad, a bit dated as well. Steps version sounds better, an 8/10 for me. Especially with Claire her vocals. 6.5 Mollie King - In The Dark (To The Beat Of My Heart) Inoffensive pop. I enjoy the Steps one more, again Claire her vocals are giving it more body so a 8.5/10 for me.
