That’s actually a good idea @gooddelta, BBF/LUM (new mix). And release this after H/T died down.

That’s great, especially with It’s short chart run! I’m happy they got another gold certification with their new material.

I totally agree with building up their momentum. Though it would’ve been nice for BBF to grab the #1 spot as well. Mm, not sure about a 6th single though. Maybe a double A with a new track?

Deeper for me!

The above post is updated. #12 on the global chart after 14 weeks and almost at 1.5 million copies sold!

I think a lot of things went great for them this era. Changes for me: -Delay the BBF for a month or 2/3. H/T was still riding high and it could’ve been a #1 in other weeks in the UK. -Not doing an US release. More promo in Europe/Australia and Asia, especially as Steptacular was released and less of a succes in those regions. -Maybe a re-release of the album in Europe around the time H/T was a hit in some countries over there (with some extra tracks/mixes). -Release BBF in Australia. Depending on their promo it could’ve been a nice top 20 hit.

Album Step one (11 September 1998) Singles 5,6,7,8 (10 November 1997) Last thing on my mind (20 April 1998) One for sorrow (24 August 1998) Heartbeat/Tragedy (9 November 1998) Better best forgotten (8 March 1999) ———————————————————— Are there things that you would’ve changed?

Just like the first time ❤️

100% and also balance in their dynamics!

Faye more leads in: OFS/DSOB Lee more in general, but also: Tragedy/DSOB/WISG I don’t enjoy H in DSOB tbh..

Normally I’m not a fan of posting AI videos. In this case I find them interesting as they have different vocals then their original versions. It does make me wonder..did Claire got too much of the lead vocals? Please, this is not to start an attack on her but more like opening a nice discussion about it. Listening to these versions I would have loved some more Faye/Lee on the vocals ( and less H). Your thoughts?

I scores the 2-track digipack of OFS ❤️

Very interesting and a lot of H and Claire! #2, #47 and #74 are my favorites out of those.

Agreed, she looks stunning! Don’t think Tragedy did anything on ITunes?

The album is stil top 10 on the global chart after 11 weeks. 1-6-7-4-6-6-6-9-7-9-10 (1.271.000)

Don’t think it will help Steps that much as Olli at the time but I prefer it over another GH release!

Could be? Does BGT still reach a big audience btw?

The tie has been broken now
