  2. 3 songs tied. WiIl need breaking today!
  3. Daniel Bedingfield I'd say now. A pretty average track from him.
  4. First to go is Elvis Presley with 'Wooden Heart' picking up an overwhelming majority of the votes. The composition is based on a German folk song Muss i denn and was featured on Elvis's film G.I Blues. 'Wooden Heart' was a #1 for six weeks between March and April 1961 and then reached 2 again in 2005. 10 Elvis Presley - Wooden Heart (21/31 votes) Vote Your Least Fave!
  5. I liked 'Candy' a lot but then again I've enjoyed a fair share of Robbie's jolly esque tracks ('You Know Me' being another) but fair enough a reason there. Looking at the list of #1's I'm not sure there will be many I dislike too much actually.
  6. 'Red Dress' is a tune!
  7. Fab end to this Paddington. 'Someone Like You' from the Brits was such an captivating and wonderful moment in time and it then sending Adele far higher in to worldwide stardom. Truly special to see. That said 'Rolling In The Deep' and 'Set Fire To The Rain' I prefer over SLY and the former would likely be #1 In my rank had it got there. 'We Found Love' is a certified banger too and a deserved runner up! My ranking, did alter some around as this was ongoing including my 1 which is now Bruno moved up but all the top 5 were worthy of it imo. 31 X Factor Finalists - Wishing On A Star 30 Wretch 32 Ft Josh Kumra - Don't Go 29 Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger 28 Jason Derulo - Don't Wanna Go Home 27 JLS - She Makes Me Wanna 26 Dappy - No Regrets 25 LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem 24 Sak Noel - Loca People 23 Matt Cardle - When We Collide 22 Example - Wide Awake 21 Little Mix - Cannonball 20 Professor Green Ft Emeli Sande - Read All About It 19 Kesha - We R Who We R 18 DJ Fresh - Louder 17 Military Wives & Gareth Malone - Wherever You Are 16 Pitbull Ft Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer - Give Me Everything 15 Pixie Lott - All About Tonight 14 Nero - Promises 13 Bruno Mars - The Lazy Song 12 Olly Murs - Dance With Me Tonight 11 The Wanted - Glad You Came 10 Example - Changed The Way You Kiss Me 9 One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful 8 Olly Murs Ft Rizzle Kicks - Heart Skips A Beat 7 Nicole Scherzinger - Don't Hold Your Breath 6 Jennifer Lopez Ft Pitbull - On The Floor 5 Adele - Someone Like You 4 Jessie J Ft b.O.b - Price Tag 3 Rihanna Ft Drake - What's My Name 2 Calvin Harris Ft Rihanna - We Found Love 1 Bruno Mars - Grenade

  11. Taken as the third single from Kanye West's third album Graduation, 'Good Life' departs in 9th. It features T-Pain and has backing vocals from Ne-Yo and John Legend while the sample borrows from Michael Jackson's 'P.Y.T.(Pretty Young Thing)'. 9 Kanye West Ft T-Pain - Good Life (8/31 votes) 10 One True Voice - Sacred Trust / After You're Gone (14/28 votes) Vote your Least Fave
  12. 'What's My Name' is fab. Much preferred that to 'Only Girl...' too. Would rank it quite high among her discography. 'S&M' is a tune also, think that was actually the highest of Rihanna's in my EOY that year. I liked the other singles from Loud too.
  13. Same top 2 but the other way round. Both essential 80's classics imo. Thanks for running this Rollo. My overall rank. 20 Boris Gardiner - I Want To Wake Up With You 19 Nick Berry - Every Loser Wins 18 Spitting Image - The Chicken Spng 17 Chris De Burgh - The Lady In Red 16 Cliff Richard and Young Ones - Living Doll 15 Madonna - True Blue 14 Wham! - The Edge Of Heaven 13 Diana Ross - Chain Reaction 12 Housemartins - Caravan Of Love 11 Billy Ocean - When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Gets Going 10 Jackie Wilson - Reet Petite 09 Doctor and The Medics - Spirit In The Sky 08 The Commundards Ft Sarah Jane Morris - Don't Leave Me This Way 07 George Michael - A Different Corner 06 Madonna - Papa Don't Preach 05 Berlin - Take My Breath Away 04 Falco - Rock Me Amadeus 03 Europe - The Final Countdown 02 A-ha - The Sun Always Shine On TV 01 Pet Shop Boys - West End Girls
  14. 'Take My Breath Away' is fantastic. Definitely in my top 5.
  15. Robyn's superior and original version of 'Dancing On My Own' just outside the top 40. Could potentially creep back in next week or so!
  16. A storming banger comeback for J Lo!
  17. Voting Jay Z and LP.
  18. (As I forgot I hadn't done this one yet x) Vote your Least Fave!
  19. Voting Snoop Dogg to win but it'll be a repeat win for M.I.A.
  20. Nu Generation leave just ahead of the final with their sole hit 'Rescue Me (In Your Arms)' which peaked at 8 in January 2000. It is a cover by Fontella Bass who originally took the song to 11 in 1965. 3 Nu Generation - Rescue Me (In Your Arms) (18/27 votes) 4 Debelah Morgan - Dance With Me (14/33 votes) 5 The Proclaimers - I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) (11/30 votes) 6 Micky Modelle V Jessy - Dancing In The Dark (9/27 votes 7 The Game - Dreams (16/28 votes) 8 James Morrison - You Make It Real (11/32 votes) 9 Abs Ft Nodesha - Miss Perfect (11/28 votes) 10 Gareth Gates - What My Heart Wants To Say (21/30 votes) Vote your Winner!
  21. 'Dont Cha' is great. Surprised it has missed top 10 tbh. 'Trouble' is another fun and feisty P!nk track. Not much I don't like of hers tbf.
  22. 'Papa Don't Preach' is certainly the better Madonna #1 of the two here. Great track. Basically the same as Julian for me with 'Chain Reaction'. It's fine but maybe I just am not keen on the song overall, whichever version. Though I'd certainly choose to listen to Diana's over Steps mediocre cover of it. 'The Final Countdown' is a fun anthem.
  23. Out first once again are One True Voice who were competing against Girls Aloud in Popstars : The Rivals in 2002. 'Sacred Trust' is an cover from The Bee Gee's album from the year before in This Is Where I Came In whilst 'After You're Gone' was the first original song in their brief career. They were expected to win but ultimately lost out to 'Sound Of The Undergound' in the infamous Christmas #1 race. It did nonetheless sell 147k to land 38th in the best sellers that year while being the 147th best seller of 2003! 10 One True Voice - Sacred Trust / After You're Gone (14/28 votes) Vote your Least Fave!
  24. Definitely her best song solo career wise for me. A major bop though it probably would slide down a few spots as other 1s that year would leap ahead now.
  25. 'Price Tag' still remains one of Jessie's best. Fun singalong track. I'd not been keen on 'Do It Like A Dude' before then but like all of her other singles from the album which is fine overall too. I also liked her first stint on the Voice but had quickly thereafter gone off her personality wise.
