Paddington James ranks the 2011 #1's
Definitely her best song solo career wise for me. A major bop though it probably would slide down a few spots as other 1s that year would leap ahead now.

'Price Tag' still remains one of Jessie's best. Fun singalong track. I'd not been keen on 'Do It Like A Dude' before then but like all of her other singles from the album which is fine overall too. I also liked her first stint on the Voice but had quickly thereafter gone off her personality wise.

Julian rates every Top 40 hit: the 1980s edition
'Relax' and 'Here Comes The Rain Again' are obviously both great from the first week then great stuff in the second with 'Holiday', 'Girls Just Want To Have Fun' and 'Break My Stride' are all great and like '(Feels Like) Heaven' too. Onto the most recent and '99 Red Balloons' is my firm fave. I actually remember discovering that when I was on holiday in Devon and was watching VH1 run through every number one singles on it's music channel specifically. I was following the 80's ones that time and the song and video stood out in such a positive way from that period. Am used to the English version but the German is good too. 'Radio Ga Ga' another Queen classic. 'Wouldn't It Be Good', 'Doctor Doctor' and 'Somebody's Watching Me' I like too but nothing more than that.

It's enjoyable but not something I'd actively choose to listen to. Fortunately it's played on radio still a lot anyway. Would have this about 10 places lower. The other appearance for Pitbull being the highest one is the correct one for sure. Also minus Bruno who would be 2 for me, everything else there is still in mine like yours!

Round 8 : End Of Year Survivor #146
Was between Snoop and MIA but gone for the former. If Nu Generation does go now then it's done pretty well for itself even though it is my fave from the 10!

Richard Adler and Jerry Ross received songwriting credits as well for the reworking of their composition Hernando's Hideaway. 4 Debelah Morgan - Dance With Me (14/33 votes) 5 The Proclaimers - I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) (11/30 votes) 6 Micky Modelle V Jessy - Dancing In The Dark (9/27 votes) 7 The Game - Dreams (16/28 votes) 8 James Morrison - You Make It Real (11/32 votes) 9 Abs Ft Nodesha - Miss Perfect (11/28 votes) 10 Gareth Gates - What My Heart Wants To Say (21/30 votes) Vote your Least Fave

'We R Who We R' is fine but probably one of the lesser go to's from the singles especially up to that point. I preferred the follow up 'Blow'. 'Read All About It' is okay though I did prefer the Emeli only version the next year much more despite it's vast overplay!

'All About Us' is another fab single from t.A.T.u. for me and was a fairly easy 11 for me from this edition, shame to see it get lots of low votes :( Love 'Friend Or Foe' too which deserved to go top 40 at the very least!

I prefer 'Boyfriend' to Pieces of Me'. That's one of the Mis-teeq songs I don't massively care for so not too bothered at that near the bottom. I do think Atomic Kitten is the best of the ones to drop out so far. I think it's a decent enough version.

I went for VS first as wasn't crazy on that. I don't hate or dislike 'Sacred Trust' but I totally can see why people do lol.

'Dance With Me Tonight' is also fun but HSAB would be the higher of the two Olly tracks for me.

George is also 7th in my rank that I've put together the other day. A great ballad from him that.

Round 7 : End Of Year Survivor #146
Returning back to the chart almost 20 years later was Scottish Duo The Proclaimers with 'I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) which had peaked at 11 in 1988. They would re-record it again for the 2007 Comic Relief teaming up with comedians Peter Kay and Matt Lucus and that version would top the singles chart for 3 weeks. Scotland used it for their goal song in the current FIFA World Cup as well. 5 The Proclaimers - I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) (11/30 votes) 6 Micky Modelle V Jessy - Dancing In The Dark (9/27 votes) 7 The Game - Dreams (16/28 votes) 8 James Morrison - You Make It Real (11/32 votes) 9 Abs Ft Nodesha - Miss Perfect (11/28 votes) 10 Gareth Gates - What My Heart Wants To Say (21/30 votes) Vote your Least Fave

I like but don't love 'Caravan Of Love'. Thoroughly enjoy the unique sounding 'Rock Me Amadeus' though and I'd say would be in my top 5 from this year!

I love 'Grenade'. One of his best personally.

Not a fan of 'No Regrets'. Always found Dappy too irritating from a musical standpoint but I didn't mind him on Celebrity Big Brother at the time and think I would've preferred he won over the winner of that series.

'Heart Skips A Beat' would be in my top 10 I'd say. Catchy bop!

Round 8 : End Of Year Survivor #145
