King Rollo ranks the UK number 1 singles of 1986
Oops I quite like that one. They do have better though I do agree.

'Loca People' feels like a bit of a non event dance track for me. I like thecfemale vocal on it I guess but not crazy on the rest. Would be around the same for me. Definitely better dance still remaining.

I didn't really know the Boris Gardiner track until now and that'll be the only time I'll choose to as it's an dull track, especially for being in the reggae genre. Would certainly put it below the two novelty tracks which understandably aren't great or anything but I found them both pretty harmless.

Thought the 'Cannonball' cover was nice enough at the time and got the CD naturally following the final but glad it's not the direction they ended up going in and it has worked out tremendously for them from 'Wings' onwards. Another crap Jason Derulo song and overdone song to sample too there, definitely be a few spots lower for me.

The Game for me also.

Round 4 : End Of Year Survivor #145
James Bond is vanquished this round as the 2006 theme song from Casino Royale, 'You Know My Name' by Chris Cornell is next to go in 8th. The Soundgarden and Audioslave singer's theme was not included on the Casino Royale soundtrack but did feature on his second solo album Carry On. It gave Chris his only UK top 10 hit across his solo and group career when it peaked at 7. 8 Chris Cornell - You Know My Name (11/25 votes) 9 S Club 8 - Fool No More (9/30 votes) 10 Martine McCutcheon - On The Radio (12/33 votes) Vote Your Least Fave

Round 2 : End Of Year Survivor #146
In a major landslide it is Gareth Gates who says goodbye with 'What My Heart Wants To Say' off the debut album titled the same, in 10th. It was the fourth single released by the Pop Idol runner up and the first single of his to fail to make it to the top when it peaked at 5 in December of 2002. 10 Gareth Gates - What My Heart Wants To Say (21/30 votes) Vote your Least Fave!

Round 3 : End Of Year Survivor #145

Yep Gareth first for me too. Not a particularly strong group here for me though hope Nu Generation goes some way at least as it's a banger that I haven't heard outside of that time really.

Definitely the weakest of the top 3 that week, not even close. Agree with Rich in finding that such a bore of a #1. 'Unorthodox' was decent though.

Another meh song from JLS though it is at least better than 'The Club Is Alive' and a couple of others from them.

Really enjoy 'Glad You Came' and would be much further up for me but it is interesting to seeing a total opposite opinion nonetheless!

A really poor X Factor ensemble single that so a good start!

Round 2 : End Of Year Survivor #145
Not how the former Tiffany Mitchell wanted to things to go here but Martine McCutcheon indeed departs first with 'On The Radio'. The song was originally recorded by Donna Summer and produced by Giorgio Moroder which in 1980 peaked at 32. Martine's version improves on that greatly as it peaked at 7 in 2001 coming from her second album Wishing. For her music career however it spelled the end as it was her final single to make the chart. 10 Martine McCutcheon - On The Radio (12/33 votes) Vote Your Least Fave

Round 8 : End Of Year Survivor #144
Voting for Sophie this time as it's far from her best for me but still fine. 'Billie Jean' makes this much tougher though as it's the best one here but not sure I'd be wanting an old song winning this and only charted again due to his passing.

Round 8 : End Of Year Survivor #144
Kaiser Chiefs are seen off in 4th with 'Never Miss A Beat'. It was the lead single taken from their third album Off With Their Heads and peaked at 5 in October 2008. The track was produced by Mark Ronson and Eliot James with backing vocals provided by Lily Allen and members of rock group New Young Pony Club. 4 Kaiser Chiefs - Never Miss A Beat (14/30 votes) 5 Faithless - Mass Destruction (10/27 votes) 6 Supermode - Tell Me Why (11/30 votes) 7 Layo & Bushwacka! - Love Story (vs Finally) (11/27 votes) 8 Roll Deep - The Avenue (12/30 votes) 9 Artful Dodger Ft Melanie Blatt - Twenty Four Seven (11/24 votes) 10 Blazin Squad - Love On The Line (21/27 votes) Vote your Least Fave

90s Top 10 sales- Week By Week- 1999
Len is my highlight from that particular top 10. Such a childhood classic. I always associate it being a summer track though so it's time of year smashing feels a bit out of place imo. I like the Vengaboys track and 'Barber's Adagio For Strings' is great too.

Tougher now but think it'll have to be 'Abracadabra' for me next.

'Pass Out' is a good debut for Tinie. Don't think I ever loved it though but can appreciate it was a cool introduction for him and like it a fair bit more now. 'Fireflies' is a very deserving number one. I did think that would be what would come out on top for you. A really great atmospheric track and the video is superb too. Also like those 2 other songs of his too, especially 'Umbrella Beach' which I thought sounded joyful and fun. Not at all bothered it kept Jedward or Glee off either. The former being horrendous and the latter I wasn't a fan. Much much prefer Journeys. 36 JLS - The Club Is Alive 35 Shout For England Ft Dizzee Rascal and James Corden - Shout 34 Scouting For Girls - This Ain't A Love Song 33 Black Eyed Peas - The Time (Dirty Bit) 32 Jason Derulo - In My Head 31 X Factor Finalists 2010 - Heroes 30 Joe McElderry - The Climb 29 JLS - Love You More 28 Dizzee Rascal - Dirty Disco 27 Usher Ft Will.I.Am - OMG 26 Alexandra Burke Ft Laza Morgan - Start Without You 25 Cheryl - Promise This 24 Helping Haiti - Everybody Hurts 23 David Guetta & Chris Willis Ft Fergie and LMFAO - Gettin Over You 22 Iyaz - Replay 21 Yolanda B Cool vs D Cup - We Speak No Americano 20 Matt Cardle - When We Collide 19 Tinie Tempah - Pass Out 18 Diana Vickers - Once 17 Ne-Yo - Beautiful Monster 16 Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World) 15 Olly Murs - Please Don't Let Me Go 14 Roll Deep - Good Times 13 Flo Rida Ft David Guetta - Club Can't Handle Me 12 Roll Deep - Green Light 11 B.o.B.
