BJSC 185 "Beyond The Stars" - Aeralynth (The Conclusion)
Congrats Addy. Got a huge jump from nothing in the semi from me, likewise Zanmatony's did the same thing. Lol at being in top 10 for a little while only to end up 33rd :') knew I wouldn't hold that but that is quite a sudden harsh collapse. Top 5 in the semi though *. Terra Avium and Séyetana both deserved better. Great entries from them. Thanks for hosting Da Tilt.

BJSC 185 "Beyond The Stars" - Aeralynth (The Conclusion)
I did consider Meg Smith a few months back but had noticed she came last in Popjustice one contest so oops if she is just cursed. Hope it picks up here soon. Didn't expect to be top 10 at all so far but don't expect it to hold. Some great songs up the top. Will need Terra Avium to pick up though.

90s Top 10 sales- Week By Week- 1999
Not a good top 2 for me. 'The Millenium Prayer' is rubbish and 'King Of My Castle' is one of the worst dance songs from that time, very boring. 'She's The One' is great though. Don't recall that Will Smith but not missing much. Five, Macy and Geri my faves in there and the A1 track is okay.

It could be and Rich could all along just be playing me saying he wouldn't send her again lol. Paddington J is a pretty huge delta fan too which is why I picked him instead.

Iz ranks the 2010 #1s
'Forget You' was my #1 of 2010 though I'd probably have 'Teenage Dream' there now which was my #2. Still love it whenever I hear, not that often tbh. It's a really fun, soulful track. Liked 'Bright Lights Bigger City' as well as several of Gnarls Barkley's singles too. Not fussed that it prevented Gary and Robbie from getting there either. 'Shame' is just alright but nothing special.

Voted. Really great final!

That's one of Flo Rida's better hits but it also isn't something I'd eagerly choose to listen to either. Shame for The Saturdays dropping from 1 on the Wednesday to 3 by Sunday that same week, on course to get their first #1 a few years earlier before they eventually did!

Round 3: End Of Year Survivor #144
Sticking with 'The Avenue'. Doesn't sound too bad on another listen but still the weakest here for me and would have put 24/7 over it.

Round 3: End Of Year Survivor #144
Artful Dodger wave goodbye as the second to go with their 6th top 40 hit (5th top 10) in 'Twenty Four Seven' which peaked at 6 and features All Saints singer Melanie Blatt. This happened just prior to All Saints officially splitting up and was included on their first greatest hits album as well. Pete Devereux had left the duo before this single leaving Mark Hill to represent the act solo. 9 Artful Dodger Ft Melanie Blatt - Twenty Four Seven (11/24 votes) 10 Blazin Squad - Love On The Line (21/27 votes) Vote your Least Fave!

Round 5: End Of Year Survivor 143
I like all of these left. A toss up between Amerie and Inaya next but settled on the former I suspect it'll be Samantha going next however. Would've liked that to get to 5th though. It's the only single of this batch I bought and gives me good nostalgia of that Christmas period.

Round 5: End Of Year Survivor 143
Geri Halliwell or simply Geri as she goes by for on this occasion rides out in 7th with 'Ride It'. It was Geri's first release in almost 3 years and coming from her her 3rd album Passion. It peaked 4 in November 2004. The music video gained a lot of criticism, notably Simon Cowell who trashed the video whilst appearing on CD:UK. 7 Geri - Ride It (11/22 votes) 8 David Sneddon - Don't Let Go (15/26 votes) 9 A1 - Like A Rose (13/29 votes) 10 Leon Jackson - Don't Call This Love (16/27 votes) Vote your Least Fave

RESULTS: Pop Princesses 2 • The Rate
Strong top 3 to finish with. Definitely Anastacia's best song but I really liked that era of hers in general. 'My Happy Ending' is good and 'Freak Like Me' is of course brilliant. Another good job hosting Jade!

Love 'Just The Way You Are'. Would be in my top 5 or near it I think.

Round 4: End Of Year Survivor 143
Scottish singer David Sneddon does better with his 2nd single than with his #1 hit which was first out as 'Don't Let Go' drops out in 8th place. It was a second consecutive top 3 hit for Mr Sneddon. He would nab two more top 40 hits and then that was it for him. 8 David Sneddon - Don't Let Go (15/26 votes) 9 A1 - Like A Rose (13/29 votes) 10 Leon Jackson - Don't Call This Love (16/27 votes) Vote your Least Fave!

Will go for Roll Deep now. Can't quite into that use of sample personally oops and a couple of annoying bits on it too.

Round 2: End Of Year Survivor #144
Following on from their debut chart topper in 'Crossroads'..Blazin Squad released the follow up second single, 'Love On The Line' which gave them a second top 10 hit peaking at 6 in November 2002. It used samples from Another Level's 1998 hit 'Freak Me'. It fails to survive the first round as it gets dumped out straight away with 21 votes. 10 Blazin Squad - Love On The Line (21/27 votes) Vote your Least Fave!
